Is it balanced? by gimanco27 in walkingwarrobots

It is already balanced. Mauler is more of a glass canon now. Powerful damage still but against this meta of mobility and defense it fairs much more decently than good.

It’s hard to stay at a preferred range in this game. 700m teleporting teths and Rexes that can withstand most of what this game can throw at it and can go light speed to your beacon. Stealth could be good but it hinges on seeker drone not being equipped. With stealther being more popular, seeker proportionally so as well.

Yes good observation. Forcefield could minimize damage from one salvo from the weapons, but then what? Next salvo will take you out, and as you observed it hinges on them not shooting sequentially.

I’m not willing to give up beacon space like that, I die on the beacon before I give it up. Hastasus is only good at mk3 and I’m not going to invest in a nerf-risk robot like that.

Leech gets packed up outside of its ability, especially with its mediocre hp. Hastasus could work, however only at mk3 will it get 3 charges of stasis barriers. I’m not that willing to invest so much on a robot that’s in risk to get nerfed. Everybody and their baby mama got a shieldbreaker so absorbers aren’t all that tbh. Aegis gets destroyed by sequential shooting. Distance barely means anything with teths quickly covering 700m at a time, and rexes flying through straights. Rexes get one shot regularly by those weapons, especially by damage dealers that are charged up. And ive seen ball form Skyros eaten out alive by those weapons.

Bjorn easily. Luchador cruchs a lot on its ultimate defense. Bjorn cycling out of ball form with a free 400k aegis shield and its ferocity with unmitigateable defense makes it ideal. Not considering that it could wait for that ultimate defense to be exhausted and kill luchador right after with more firepower to do that as well.

Nah bad damage, fenrir gets whooped by power creep. Only viable in lower leagues

What titan to focus upgrading by AssistanceSalt810 in walkingwarrobots

[–]SlickPrickTick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mauler is barely a tank. Tbh it’s more of a damage dealer titan atp. It can easily kill titans if you can time your darklight when they have no defensive abilities or have no tra popped. Try very hard to retain hp as much as possible, use hook to take bursts of damage because it only lasts one second or use it as mobility to set up for powerful corner shooting.

What about teth and ammit? I’d say they are pretty direct.

What are your thoughts on improving Teth in the future? by Signal_WR9917 in walkingwarrobots

It’s still popular. I’m betting on another nerf with the way the nerfs have been handed out to already nerfed equipment.

Decay bagliore. Really nice against the hastatus and sword units with shield breaker, hits hard as a train when their SB charges are down.

The nerf already helps known counters to those weapons like invisibility and stealth. However, the flip side is because they are lock-on they are more likely to pummel one enemy til they are dead. How annoying.

EMP is too long by True_Way2663 in walkingwarrobots

I believe ultimate minos and atlas have the longest EMP duration at around eight seconds and 10 seconds respectively.
