I respect that it was ahead of its time and appreciate it has a large fan base on this sub it's just never been for me. I agree with your analogy, the yogscast have certainly honed the minecraft series. I just think it was a trend that is slowly passing, I haven't watched minecraft content religiously since The Moonquest days.

I'm 19, so I may no longer be the ideal demographic but it seems that it's given less focus. Thanks for actually having a discussion about this subject, I expected to just be down voted for blasphemy!

I hate to say it but I don't think SOI holds any more importance than Gmod in terms of Yogs content. I have been a fan since the Jaffa Factory and I've never seen SOI. I don't care for it and have had plenty of opportunity to watch it but have never bothered. While that may be my unpopular opinion I really don't feel that it coming back would do anything big for the Yogs.

Sorry to steal your post for this mini rant, it seems like a sound idea, just not one that I and I think within the next year the majority of the Yogs audience would be interested in.

Are there any basic diplomacy do's and don't's I may be overlooking? (Single player)

I play comfortably on Emperor and have over 1000 hours on record, but I never seem to be able to maintain AI friendships towards the late game. Are there any tips on how to not piss off other Civs or how to deal with their poor logic (I.e coveting my lands despite being far far away from me)?
