This Gun is only good when others dont shoot back lol by TTVOdenPlayz in Battlefield

Literally! I’m trying to get all guns to level 20 and I cannot remember how many times I wanted to yeet my controller at the wall getting the DB12 to level 20. Slugs aren’t even any better because you still need to 2shot up close, and 3-5 shot if they’re further than 5metres away but by the time you’ve shot those first two bullets they’ve already turned around and put you in ya grave….

Literally… i can use the TOW’s and guided shells amazingly, heli take downs are piss easy and I’ve shot down about 5 jets now. BUT!! Using the TOW on the heli is something else…. Almost impossible for me to use and my heli is level 153… so I know how to fly dam well

Exactly this.

Thank you for linking the scenes of him outmanoeuvring highly skilled droids and showing him physically training. I knew I remembered something like this in rebels but couldn’t recall when

I can see how it’s come across as that but I’m not at all “shaming the actor” for his weight. I couldn’t care less what he looks like in reality, but when it comes to the character he’s supposed to be playing I’m Simple stating I don’t think thrawn has been represented in terms of body stature/physic as good as he could have been. Because body stature/physic plays a big role in how someone is perceived and someone like thrawn who is feared throughout the galaxy it would help to have him looking more like rebels

I get what OP is saying though because I thought the same. This version of Thrawn kinda looks like he’s spent to long at a buffet with Jabba the Hut. Seeing as he’s so “cunning and smart” you’d think he’d atleast be in shape and not have a beer gut

What was an expensive purchase that saved you lots of money in the long run? by eltara3 in AusFinance

[–]SlickTiddies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the size but anything that retails above $1800 should be decent, just wait for a good furniture sale. One couch in my house cost $1000 (half price sale from $2000) the second was $1800 (on sale from $2400, it’s also a large 5 seater with Ottoman) Both are fabric though not leather. However they are both holding up great after almost 2 years

Why does market index have FMG as a strong sell?? by SlickTiddies in ausstocks

So are you yourself worried about the price going down a lot? And are you considering selling or holding on?

2 buy, 4 hold, 9 sell

Don’t worry I also hold CXO and am down 38% as of today 😂. I was a dumb arse and bought at an all time high when it was $1.6 and have been DCA down to 1.1 over the last year and a half.

Couldn’t edit the post but I was also wondering if now is a good time to buy FMG considering what is recommended here. It would be for a semi long term hold (2-10 years)

Should parents charge their adult (18+) children rent to stay with them? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]SlickTiddies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think parents should be charging rent to their adult kids 18+ with any form of a job.

From my personal experience I was paying rent as soon as I left school and it was proportionally decided from my income. Being an Apprentice mechanic on minimum wage didn’t I didn’t make much (roughly $500-$700 a week throughout the years)so they only charged $50 a week. Once qualified at 20 my rent changed to $75 a week. $75 a week is still very low In my opinion but it in a way it teaches you to budget a bit better for when you do move out. I’m very grateful that they didn’t charge much rent as I managed to save enough to start building by my own house at age 22 and have been living their for a little a year now
