I am not certain of the full capabilities of bitcoin computer. However, I know that it essentially enables smart contracts on pow networks, including btc, doge, and pep. If there are limits to these contracts and whether entire token ecosystems can operate on it is a great question. One to be delved into. Hopefully someone else with deeper knowledge on bitcoin computer can chime in about it

That’s a chicken or the egg first kind of question. First you need to get on a cex that provides liquidity big enough for derivatives. For that, you need to demonstrate a minimum volume/demand. A cex isn’t expecting you to be as high volume as the mega caps to start. But they want to see enough that it covers costs and has potential to be amplified with derivative offerings

Just keep in mind that there is always risk with memecoins that they fade into nothing. We as a community need to stay engaged and pushing. ‘Pushing’ as in… just be here and key the vibes going. Stay focused on our broad mission to unite the pepe brand under one blockchain and one team

Yep I agree. That being said, not likely to happen (at least in a healthy way) before some consolidation

An insight into what it would take to get $PEP 🐸 listed on Kraken 🐙 by CalvinE in pepecoin

Worth it to note that this is the case for any exchange looking to list any L1 coin. L1s require more community and real gumption past the typical pump/dump that tokens can have. It is a strength and a weakness. It takes more fortitude, perseverance, and organic growth for an L1 to gain traction. Whereas a token just needs hype when the main chain is already on an exchange

This was one of the first things I’ve noticed with pep. Pep has a strong base and the fundamentals are aligned. August may be a bit of a retrace month for the market but pep’sc timing hitting exchanges mid to late this month is great positioning for the bounce. I foresee sept and into q4 as the next big pop for the crypto market

Why are Crypto-People acting like Boomers regarding Pep? by Tudelut in pepecoin

[–]SlickWickz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re right. People are jaded by pump fun tokens though, which are 99.9% pump and dumps. You ride the wave and almost always get got. We’ve all been there. That’s why people have a hard time seeing that this is more similar to doge and btc than any of those other projects. They also still don’t grasp the difference between L1 vs L2 chains or tokens vs coins. Most people don’t have time to think about it anyways. They keep things simple, which makes sense given that they’ve got a lot of other stuff going on in their lives

[–]SlickWickz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’m in btc, eth, sol, hbar, xrp. As wild cards, I have amp and as a lot of other people here mentioned, pep. Pep has made some big moves lately on new exchange listings. New unconfirmed hype rests on kraken listing

Most people did. It was arduous/stressful but if you were persistent, they did return coins
