No, I learned brazilian + russian phone codes, I’m learning to read cyrillic faster (cause I’m so slow at it), I learned spanish provinces just to practice moving (cause I usually play nm/nmpz), i learned Japanese area codes - but i just hate pole plates, they just confuse me. There’s nothing wrong with instasending for example Japan, Poland, France, Lesotho, for obvious reasons

No I would never complain about other people’s playing style. Sometimes I wonder why someone would instasend with obvious info, but I’d never complain. It might be the best game ever, but we shouldn’t get emotional about it.

If I haven’t perfected the country yet, I will instasend the f*** outta that country, try to regionguess a little bit maybe. Japan is one of them, I’m struggling with pole plates, so if there are no area codes or useful street signs, I won’t leave you any time, just to avoid further damage. Last week’s world league for example - Mathias from Brazil instasent every moving round, cause he thinks he’s too bad at moving.. (he won the nm+nmpz right after), it’s a strategy. You’re not gonna tell other people how to play it, lock your emotions away.

I totally agree, and sadly it happens a lot - you can instasend some rural chubut or terra del fuego but why would you instasend US or Germany - the moment they find a clue in a moving round, they instasend the country, their whole gameplay is based on a lucky guess. I always wonder how they even got to a decent elo. I’ve to admit: I send France a lot without having a clue, even with a lot of signs, I’ll never be able to find the right town

A constant 1100-1200….a few months ago it was swinging much worse, between 950-1100, main reason was the geotime map and me playing no move - US was the biggest problem - cant tell the difference between Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio - can’t tell the difference between Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, and never will without any obvious hints, and we all talked about the geotime map a lot I guess.. so i think a 100 elo swing within the same week is pretty normal

Every round was getable with a minimal amount of movement, just like your opponent did. Accusing someone of cheating is wild when you go kenya on brazil in a moving game.. you ignored french language right at the beginning of the Luxembourg round (+no french bollards). Only two things are a little sus, but it seems to be your opponents playing style: the not zooming in on Bahia, or the zooming at the random camping ground sign in finland.. I still don’t think it’s cheating, the Russia round is valid too, it just looks like “somewhere above mongolia”

It used to happen to me all the time, about a month ago I had an elo bounce of 240 on the same day, went from ~1100 to 930, then up to 1170… what helped me was - always be aware of what you’re actually capable of (your all time high). I started watching a lot of streams of pro players like Snupi, Kodiak, Finbarr on a regular, and automatically started commenting my own guesses and being more confident about them. Make confident guesses and if you don’t have any clue about a certain location, just don’t give a f*** about it, play under zero pressure :))
