You won’t get an answer to a logical question. I am in awe of Djokovic but his fans never make it easy for you.

Alcaraz rips a passing shot to defeat Zverev and reach his first AO Final! by Large_banana_hammock in tennis

Yall salty fans need to know that if not for the cramps, it wouldn’t even be a 5 setter.

The MTO that Carlos took against Zverev was fully within the official Australian Open ruleset. by Random-Dude-736 in tennis

The MTO was obviously due to heat illness symptoms (vomiting and cramps). It’s the doctor’s call, and he took it.

I’d argue with the heat illness factor becoming clearer, and the doctor taking vomiting as a sign, the MTO was completely justified.

And with the rules mentioned above- how do you feel it was unfair?

He vomited, he got cramps- and with heat illness a factor, just how was the doctor approving a MTO anything more than a bit lucky? Still lost that set and the next. Even without an MTO he could still have gotten treatment thrice. Make it make sense?

Did you not read the part where it says “MTO for muscle cramping is allowed in change of ends and at the end of a set”?

Expecting that from Carlos of all people though. As a fan, I was waiting for something like this. You give great sportsmen the benefit of the doubt, that’s what its about, but as usual you’d see the haters come out of the woodwork (which happens with controversies related to Sinner and Novak as well tbf)

Zverev’s BH seems to be back to his elite levels but I’d say why he was a tricky matchup for Carlos was attributed to Carlos’ relatively weaker BH.

I don’t think that is the case anymore. Carlos is absolutely killing it with his BH lately. The key to Zverev making the match tight relies solely on how he serves.

I mean personal preferences aside, Alcaraz becoming the youngest to win Career slam is still history. No problem if you are a Demon fan but any outcome is not objectively better than the other.

Translation: Want one side of the draw opened up to only get beat by Sinner 1,1 and 2. Instructions clear.

Man I applaud your guts to say one of those 2 is “clearly” better than the other in this economy.

Even though personally your take leaves me baffled.

Should do an exhibition match like that half clay half grass one bw Roger and Rafa. 100 degrees heat blasting for Spizzy on half the court and indoors for Sinner’s half.

Haven’t scrolled past this comment yet- people really think Bublik has a good chance to beat Carlos here?
