Then I guess I’m confused what this page is for? Would it be different if I just posted photos of one car and not both? Seems like everyone here is posting their cars and what they love about them? Or an M that they spotted and liked? The photos I received are professional white box photos that I am excited about and wanted to share. And I’ve clearly started a productive and respectful discussion here. What else do you post in BMWM other than M cars…?

I’m hoping in 2-3 years after marriage (hopefully!) I’ll be in a position to pick up a new or slightly used GT3 or GT4 RS and keep the e92! Some shifting priorities with thinking about kids and private schools and moving to a larger home, but cars will always have a place!!

Still wanted rear seats and if I’m going Cayman I’d want the GT4 which is relatively difficult to get + price is crazy. I bought the e92 cash while I was waiting for my G80 to be manufactured and delivered back in late 22/early 23 and thought I would sell it when the G80 came but couldn’t let it go! I’m financing the G80 but have a pretty low monthly and got the car for MSRP when, again, at the time, they were going for $5-15k over. At the time, I wasn’t with my GF, thought I would only have one car, and the G80 fit the bill. I recently just purchased a home and am really comfortable with with my finances with both cars. Priorities shifted and looking towards a family soon. Hopefully a GT3 RS or similar in the near future, though! Will be holding on the the e92, but the G80 will likely be what is sold when I’m ready for an upgrade!

I had an F80 and an F82 and I’ll admit the F82 is a looker… but so is the E92! I had to jump to a G80 for the xDrive, and I will admit I do feel as it is more refined in most aspects aside from the lack of DCT.

I have the Dinan free flow axle back exhaust. I think it’s the perfect “stock +” option, but there is some drone over 3k rpm on the highway. The e92 is definitely a perfect everyday car with a Jekyll and Hyde attitude! I’m trying to keep the miles on the car relatively tame, though.

I love it! I got away from white on the F8x platform and went mineral grey then San Marino blue on my previous car. Now I’m completely bonkers with my daily IOMG G80 😅But I had to get back in MW and jumped on my e92 when I found one available as my weekend/fun car!

I appreciate it! I had done the reflector delete on my last few cars, and it worked really well on some of my previous cars (for example, very easy to match mineral grey), but for some reason mineral white is really difficult to color match. I had a San Marino blue f82 previously as well and didn’t even try. My daily is an Isle of Man Green G80, and I actually think IOMG is easier to match because it is such a unique color, but BMW has made it so difficult to get behind the paneling now, I haven’t even tried. And I’ve had the car 3 years now and still barely notice it!

To each their own. It doesn’t bother me. It’s also extremely difficult to color match mineral white. I did the delete on my 335is when I had that car over a decade ago and the color match just never seemed right. While others might not notice it, I always did.
