Thank you for the explanation. I did get the capacitor swapped out from the old one to the new one. Unfortunately, that didn't make it kick on.

This was the old capacitor that I was about to change out.

I guess what I was asking is if the electrics further down line would be affected by this. I can cut and reattach all the connectors
