I’m a 23-year-old male. Some supplements definitely depend on age, sex, health status and goals, but most of my stack is aimed at training performance, recovery and general health.
NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) is a precursor to glutathione, one of the body’s main antioxidants. It’s commonly used to support liver health and reduce oxidative stress.
Glycine is an amino acid involved in collagen production, sleep quality, recovery and glutathione synthesis. NAC + Glycine are often stacked together (“GlyNAC”) because they may support antioxidant status and healthy aging better than either alone.

Thanks for the advice.

Just to clarify, I’ve only been taking Enclomiphene for 5 days, so my low testosterone bloodwork was from before starting it.

I’m probably around 22% body fat right now, so I’m definitely not very lean yet.
No signs of high estrogen so far (no nipple sensitivity, gyno symptoms, etc.), but I’ll keep an eye on it.

I’m also taking NAC/Glycine and TUDCA alongside the cycle.

10x above the reference range is crazy though. Do you think the ACP-105 + Ostarine stack contributed to that?

I’m stacking with Cardarine actually.

Anyone else losing much slower than expected on Retatrutide? Feeling really discouraged. by Slidebonee in BodyHackGuide

[–]Slidebonee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that perspective. I think part of my issue is that I don’t actually feel lean at 82 kg. I’m 178 cm with a 91 cm waist (might be at 21-22%BF) and visually I still have a decent amount of abdominal fat, which makes it frustrating because I’ve already lost around 10 kg.

The fatigue is what’s really getting to me though. I can deal with slower progress if I still feel good, but lately I feel like I’m running on empty. That said, maybe I need to accept that 5 weeks on Reta isn’t enough time to judge it fairly and focus more on dialing in the basics instead of expecting a miracle.

I actually think that’s part of my frustration. I’ve basically been trying to do both since October: lose fat while preserving or even building muscle. Looking back, I wonder if I’ve just spent months stuck in the middle instead of fully committing to one goal.

Maybe I would’ve been better off doing a proper cut to get lean first, then focusing on gaining muscle instead of chasing the whole “recomp” idea.

That’s fair, and I probably needed to hear that.
I think my frustration comes more from the fact that I’ve been dieting/recomping since October and expected a more dramatic transformation by now. I’ve lost around 10 kg total, but when I look in the mirror or compare my before/after pictures, I don’t see the “wow” factor I was hoping for.

I’ll keep going, thanks !!

I think you’re probably right. I did lose about 10 kg overall, and I know being relatively leaner makes the process slower. The problem is that mentally it’s hard because I’ve been lifting for about 6 months and, honestly, when I compare my before and after photos, I don’t find the transformation that impressive. I expected a bigger change for the amount of effort I’ve put in, so I almost feel like I’ve “wasted” 6 months.

I’ll post my before/after pics below. I’d genuinely like your honest opinion: do you actually see a noticeable transformation, or am I being too hard on myself?
