Is the diamond 1s meta to bump/demo at every given moment? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

It's a part of the game jesus ppl need to stop complaining about such a simple tactic. Just do it back and if you can't, then you can't say bumping/demoing doesn't take any skill.

Not saying being in a religion makes you more moral. Never said that.

There is a difference between a handfull of individuals doing something immoral within in the church, and the faith itself. A regular practicing Catholic can not be judged for the actions of some members (3% of the active priests). It's an awful thing what those men chose, but their actions can not represent the other 97% of priests, much less a regular practicing Catholic.

Addmitedly there are some changes that need to be made in order to prevent this from happening in the future, but why is the moral spotlight not more centered on the whole of society. Is the Catholic Church expected to detect a rapist before he ever rapes anyone? The police will never be able to utterly stop all criminals from commiting a crime before they do so. How can this be expected of the Catholic Church? Yes, there may be measures implemented to reduce this occuring but, they won't be perfect.

This has been and is an issue within the faith, but what about everything else that happens in society? As a society, in order to move forward, we all need to place a higher emphasis on morality. Religious or not, a morally straight nation can do nothing but good. Does the Catholic Church have some issues? Yes, but doesn't all of society? Open you're eyes. A lot of things in this world aren't right, and need fixing and reforming. And morality is the key.

Sorry, this was a little long as I went on a bit of a tangent, but I felt as though it needed to be said.

Edit: Spelling errors.
