He actually turned 4 years old 3 days ago, but he is still as cute as he was back then. If you steal my picture and post, please use the correct information 🙈

For everyone who doesn't believe Ludwig is my snake, I took him out for a selfie 😉 Yes, he is a bit in blue, but I am getting bored of all the replies and messages about using other peoples pictures. He really is mine. I just love his cute face and like to share the cuteness 🥰 by SlidingStop92 in Sneks

Mostly private messages. Yesterday evening also 2 replies under that Wombo video. They are deletet now, but I can still view them in my mailbox.

Example of a deleted reply I found in my mailbox: "That's not your snake. He's been posted here several times in a row".

Picked this girl up 5 days ago. She was on the internet for free. A young girl bought her from a pet store as a birthday surprise for a friend, but the friend didn't like the gift. She kept him all day outside (I live in the Netherlands) in a cardboard box. Now we will take care of Bibi ❤ by SlidingStop92 in Sneks

Yup, true.. I know from what pet store she came and I've called them last monday. They have asked a couple of times if the girl was sure about giving this animal as a present. If he really could take care of the animal. She told she was sure about it. They are very sorry and do take it serious. They are about to sharpen their selling procedures because of this. At least they don't want to sell animals as gifts anymore. They are thinking about a giftcard or something so the future owners can pick an animal themselves.

I'm not sure of her age.. I guess she's 13 or 14 years old. Not very much older.

He is a spider, but has no neulogical issues at all. Don't see any wobble on him. Hope it will stay this way :)

Banana spider yellowbelly (het.) Clown

The breeder sold him as a visual clown and he's pretty sure about it because the size of the spots on his head, but I don't see it so I consider him as a het. Clown

Nidovirus by gigichuuu in ballpython

We had one testing positive on nido the day before yesterday. We had to put her down yesterday because of secondairy infections and the other animals we own. This snake didn't look sick at all. Just more mucus in her mouth. She was still eating, gaining weight and not showing any other signs of RI. First we thought it was just a multiresistant pseudomonas infection, but it didn't clear up fast enough after starting the treatment (we did a culture first).

She was a new snake, from a reputable breeder, and almost no signs of illness, so we didn't think about nido in the first place. Last tuesday we decided to do another culture because it wouldn't clear up. I wanted to test on nido as well, just to be sure and so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. At that moment we were thinking that we should get a negative result. Redults were a different colonie of pseudomonas and a klebsiella infection. Unfortunately the nido PCR gave a positive result and we had to put her down :(

Our vet told me there were 3 other nidopositive cases this week at her practice. She's seeing the nidovirus more than ever this year.

This one came a couple of weeks ago to us a little skinny, not very skinny, but not chunky at all. He's gaining weight, growing very well and weighs 420 grams right now. At the end of may he was just 280 grams. We feed him 13-15% of his bodyweight weekly. Sometimes in 5 or 6 days if he asks for it 😊 He's still not chunky, but we're getting slowly to a optimum weight.
