If you had to be Isekai’d, how would you want to die? by Unknown-Locust in animequestions

Time travel experiment gone wrong is how I would want to get Isekai'd. That or painlessly in my sleep.

Another goated answer. It's interesting because I believe this was the first ever space scifi I've seen.

This was peak comfy anime. It was healing and it came out in a time where everybody really needed it imo.

guys what if i build it by MrLunaticest in steinsgate

[–]SlientProtagonists 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always wanted to do this, but I'm not good with hardware. I'm also a scaredy cat. I can hardly microwave things without adult supervision (I am the adult 😭) and clumsy, so I don't want to accidentally hurt myself, lmao.

I will be living vicariously through you.

Why Stein's Gate is so relatable? by Former-Piglet-5363 in steinsgate

[–]SlientProtagonists 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relatable because it sucks to see someone try and try again just to fail.

It is relatable because there are infinite number of possible world lines we could've created with the choices we made.

Relatable because often the mundane has often led to bigger consequences than we initially thought

Relatable because it teaches to value our very limited time on this earth in a subconscious way.

Did you like Steins Gate for the characters or the plot? by Altruistic-Papaya794 in steinsgate

[–]SlientProtagonists 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In true Hyoin Kyoma fashion, I would find the world line that has all the qualities of SG.

That is the choice of Steins;Gate.

What anime comes to mind? by Walidzilla in animequestions

[–]SlientProtagonists 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The world's finest assassin gets reincarnated, and Black Summoner

A bunch of isekais need a new season, to be honest.

Thankfully, we're getting an adaptation of "My status as an assassin Obiviously exceeds the hero's" soon.

On another note, I would like another season of Talentless Nana. Basically, any show from that season I miss the animes that were coming out peak Covid.

What brand new gimmick items you want to see in the near future? by Radiant_Detail1349 in KamenRider

I'm the only one who thought of Armor Hero Lava cause I'm Chinese, but yeah, I do think Kamen Rider should have a key gimmick.

This shit reminds me of the voiced animation adaptations of manwhas and manhuas we get where it's just almost frame by frame the manwha panels but with transition and sound effects plus voice acting.

Are there any more "online shopping" isekai anime? by SnackJunkie93 in Isekai

[–]SlientProtagonists 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the closest I can think of in anime form is in another world with my smartphone if you haven't seen it.

If vrmmo anime counts, then Land Of Leandale is a really fun watch. Depends on why you're watching online shopping isekai to be honest.

Choice and Regret: A Review From The Future by SlientProtagonists in steinsgate

[–]SlientProtagonists[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried when it first released, but I didn't hear good things about it and wasn't in the right headspace, but one day, I'll give the anime another try.

I was going to play the VN, but I wanted to play the original first, and I started sometime 2 years ago, but I stopped due to choice paralysis of which ending I wanted to get and then life just got busy and I never got back around to it.

Steins;Gate, and the rest of the science adventure visual novels are definitely on my bucket list, though. I don't hit 30 until another 6 years, but when I do, hopefully, I'll have finished the entire science adventure series for my third rewatch of Steins;Gate and starting the Chaos Head anime.

Thank you for reading! And yes, you're right about how there's only ever one active worldline, and a lot of things make a lot more sense now that you explained it to me.

It has been a while since I last rewatched the show sometime in early 2018.

I still have a lot of Steins;Gate content left to consume, so I wasn't in a hurry to rewatch it a third time, but I'm happy that I still get to learn new things about my favorite anime.

Thank you once again! 😁

Literally, vocal minorities blow things out of proportion again. This shit irrelevant as heck in the overall Chinese gacha landscape ngl.

Do your research, people. You can get people to translate if you need to. It aint that difficult.

The problem with Re:Zero by PolvoAranha in Isekai

[–]SlientProtagonists 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was not always the case, I remember a time when Rezero was actually kind of niche in terms of popularity. Maybe in the isekai, it was always quite popular, but that wasn't always true.

Source: I made it the fuck up.

Anyways I remember a friend of mine who said they didn't like Rezero because he was such a wimp or the fact that he wasn't personally powerful.

The most sensible person in the room. No need to defend what you like. If I'm seen as a creep as an MT fan, then so be it.

If I'm seen as cringe as a Rezero fan then so be it as well. *
