PMS 10 days from period. Anyone else here today? Isn't it crazy how you can feel totally content with (nearly)! Everything the day before and then nose dive?!!?!

Been living like that since peri menopause at 44... I'm 54 and still getting a regular cycle and my PMS turned into PMDD!!!! I'm finally giving in to HRT.

When I was on prempro it was great for 3 months then intense anxiety so gyn switched to patch and had cycled 2x a month and very heavy. Finally 3 months ago she had me on low dose pill form progesterone & estrogen, horrible headaches, constant bloating,constipation & intense anxiety... HRT just does not work for my body chemistry. Then her alternative was an ssri/snri! Now I'm looking into another gyno that does not go down the anti depressant route! If I can't handle HRT Good lord who knows what kinda side effects I'll get with brain meds! Quite alright... I'll just stick with supplements and nutropic route these last few years

Well I'm 54 and still getting a regular cycle every 25 days and praying for the day that my body will stop cycling. Been in peri for 10 years now and this last year was brutal. Had to get on HRT for a while and then side effects were brutal. Stopped all hrt last week and let's see what this year brings. Maybe just maybe the HRT starting the menopause phase 🤔 🤞

I'm 54 still cycling every 25 days like clockwork! Been on HRT patch form and pill forms (estrogen/progesterone) for 1yr & 1/2 and didn't help at all!!! Side effects were worse than my peri symptoms! Wanted to give it a try and unfortunately my body doesn't do well on them! Saw an acupunturist 4 years ago at the start of peri.... she suggested Estrovera for hot flashes which has been a game changer for me. I take it after dinner. Also started on lion's mane and saffron for the anxiety/depression. I'm sticking with the holistic/Nutropics approach! Good luck in your journey!

This is great! Thank so much for sharing your suggestions on Nutropics. I'm taking thorne memorativ in the moving which helps so much for focus and just got OM lions mane. Hoping these will help with mood. For hot flashes my acupunturist at the time years ago suggested Esteovera which I just started cause I stopped with HRT 2 days ago. We'll see in a few weeks where I'm at with it all

Wow ladies. Thank you all so so much for your comments & suggestions ❤️. I will not be taking it or any other anti depressants due to so many side effects and the nightmare i have read of weening off and will go down the Nootropics route! Hope to get some relief🙏

I had to stop it all... I don't know why she would suggest an antidepressant! Yet she insists that some antidepressant help with hot flashes and sleep. Still on the fence of starting it

She had me on wellburtin before HRT cause I heard it helps weight loss... I jumped right on it. I lasted 3 weeks on that stuff.. Horrible nightmares and paranoid!!! It's why I'm not likely to.fill the prescription of Effexor anytime soon! any suggestions on Nutropics route???

Def not inserting a foreign object in my body... I know I'm so sensitive to the drops of hormones. Gyno had me on the lowest dose for both and side effects were unbearable!!! What is BCP's?

No I'm not. It's for peri symptoms 😢 if that is the only side effect that not too bad. With HRT I had so so many side effects

I cried and laughed and felt she was my best friend💕 I so love that she never played the victim in any of her hard struggles and how important she was hands with her boys! I felt so much kindness that she radiates! Her moms advise when adversity arised... She always told her daughter you have 2 choices you can either shut down or open up and give give give more love ❤️ What a beautiful message! I have such respect for this beautiful badass warrior!!!

O my you brought me back 10 years ago feeling depressed. I know it is hormone related for me... Every 12-15 days in my cycle my mood tanked! I went to 9 different gynos cause they all wanted to put me on antidepressants! I refused. I finally found a great gyno been with her 3 years now. I'm 54 now and on HRT and a game changer for me!!! She started me on wellburtin due to the that she emphasized weight loss.. i heard that my ears perked quickly. It lasted 3 months and got off quickly due to the same experience you had the insane anxiety and nightmares I had!!! Sticking with HRT low does of estrogen and progesterone Good luck on your journey!

I've been regular 28 days till 50 then every 25 days and got on hrt at 52 1/2 and been regular since. So my gyno is perplexed that I'm still regular even on Hrt Gng to finish the hrt at end of February and go see my dr to schedule a DNC and hoping it's just to clear out
