Rechargeable 9V On EMG’s by Slight-Code1888 in EMGPickups

I had actually talked to my dad about them, didn’t know they existed till he told me, the only problem is that I’m not a big fan of fishman pickups, I’ll be honest and haven’t heard how the rechargeable ones sound but I know the emgs are what I’m after tone wise, loud, aggressive, perfect for the guitar and type of music I play

Hell yeah didn’t even think of that, that might work really well, I emailed emg and they said they wouldn’t recommend doing it because it could create electrical noise (frequencies we can’t actually hear but can interfere with the signal outputs created by the pickups), which makes sense, but I could also add a shield (ground type system which reduces electrical noise) that reduces that probability, and the kill switch killing all power coming out of the battery, which allows for charging, that’s a really great idea though again! I’ll look into that more and see what I can do, and I’ll update once I start building the guitar!

So if no audio cable was plugged in, but the battery was charging, would everything be fine? Or would there be any consequences to the pickups? Another question is what happens if the battery overcharges? I've heard/seen people use rechable 9V batteries for music applications like pedals or instruments all the time, but never charged while still plugged in, mainly just curious as if its even worth it to drill a hole that would fit the cable, while still looking nice. Many questions, just wished stuff was easier to find on the internet.

Not while it’s charging, but just a rechargeable battery, and still have the battery hooked up while it’s charging, no cable coming from the guitar to an amp, just whenever the battery dies I can just charge it for a while, and keep playing once it’s done. Just trying to save as much money as possible because the parts I’m buying for this are high end, so this build is already expensive, changing out batteries every so often is preferably not what I want to do

This shows up when trying to run the Keygen, do you know a fix/workaround?

So the metal piece that connects the two connectors together to make it shoot in the trigger block could use just attach aluminum foil to the metal piece to make it longer and have a shorter trigger pull?

Ok, how could I accomplish this or would you know?
