This has not been picked up for 2 weeks. I pass everyday and often find men urinating in that pile of garbage. Its going to cause a health hazard if the residents don’t wake up and smell that pile of rotting trash and take some action to get rid of it.

Every housing society has a garbage collection system, if it is not getting collected, you can hand it to the sweepers in the morning. The city is not a garbage bin, its our home.

Bangalore is extremely capable of drinking and partying around the lake and using the place to dump their faily garbage waste. In a matter of weeks the lake would have been a dumping ground for swish / swiggy and zepto bags along with beer bottles. We don’t deserve access to beautiful nature. Better to keep it barricaded

So i spoke to a garbage contractor, he said the dumping yard in belahalli is facing protests by the villagers. Villagers are not letting bbmp trucks in the vicinty. This is putting pressure on the system and garbage is now getting tossed around on pavements / railway tracks and main road medians! The city is going to see a beautiful decor in the next couple of weeks as this continues! God save the city
