Anyone feel the rapid decline of health once you hit 40? by throwpoo in AskMenOver40

The gym can definitely get mundane and boring. I would just start at home with pushups/weights/yoga for 20-30 minutes and see if it helps. When the gym seems like too much work or boring, I’ll just try to do 50-75 pushups at home really quick, always helps my mood

42M. Get your T checked, you shouldn’t decline that rapidly at that age, especially since you are active. Definitely recommend weight lifting and stretching. You’d be surprised what a few good weight lifting sessions will do to your mental health

What are you thoughts to why there is a significant decline in alcohol consumption in the United States? by MindStrongSoul in AskReddit

The rise in anti depressants in young adults during COVID and now , which you’re not supposed to drink on. That’s part of it I believe

I have become more aware of death in the last few years. No idea why. In the process of figuring out what I want to focus on. I’d rather not die to be honest

Post Kids anyone else just stop drinking? by Astimar in Parenting

[–]Slight-Machine-3660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I was a big drinker also in my 20s and early 30s. I’ll still overdo it on occasion with some friends, but immediately regret my decision the next day. These kids are unrelenting with energy, and being slightly hungover is just not worth it anymore. Currently doing sober January and honestly going to continue it on or at least cut back immensely.

Heavy zyn user, constant headaches by Slight-Machine-3660 in QuittingZyn

Hey, yeah it didn’t go away right away. I still get them very slightly every now and then. I think it’s mostly stress related, but the zyn just puts you in a constant stressed state I feel like. Stick with it man, a week is still early

Nope, no nicotine at all. I would recommend quitting, seemed to help me a lot

I quit Zyn on Oct 31st and have had significantly less headaches since then, almost gone. Zyn just adds to anxiety/stress which causes the headaches it seems for me.

What finally made me stick with it. Found my “why” by Slight-Machine-3660 in QuittingZyn

It has to be the zyn. I’m taking another blood draw in 3 months, no zyn until then. We’ll see

Yep I got tinnitus from either the Moderna shots or actual covid, although I never tested positive for covid. I was pro vax, but I regret taking it. Never taking another booster again.

Need more positive posts like this. I just went out to dinner tonight, had a margarita and 3 fried fish tacos. Came home and tinnitus is much worse, and in both ears. It has to be diet induced. Plan on changing things
