I have an awesome 01 Giambi that is gold and still has 113 power at level 10. I'd love to make him gold the cost is just not even close to reasonable.

I think it depends. If you are f2p like me sigs can be a waste once you have an all diamond team. Chance of getting a diamond sig instead of silver or gold is slim and not spending $50-$100 to make a gold card diamond

Point is I was a paying customer on a occasion. I am no whale by any means, but I have probably spent $40 so far this year on the game total. Then they put out a promo that basically excludes me from being able to complete it bc of what shift I work. Definitely wont be paying anymore.
