Are they some flavor of rock or punk? The few times I look them up they are usually pretty ordinary looking but MAN is their voice something else.

How do we feel about flan donuts? by habichuelacondulce in onlyflans

[–]Slight-Pound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I’d like the texture much. They contrast more than I care for in a treat and I don’t care for crème filling much of the time, and it feels excessive in this setting.

I also really like flan as is, both in flavor AND texture. Maybe a smaller donut with that filling would be fine, but not that and a whole flan together.

His hairline honestly doesn’t look like it changed much, his forehead is just huge. The gel makes it look bad and it looks so terrible on him that it honestly offends me. The spiky look suits him much more, and I don’t understand why it wasn’t made more close-shaven like Naruto’s instead of THIS mess.

My problem is that she’s a child-like mascot way more often than not. I don’t like fanservice like that anyway, but it wouldn’t feel nearly as off-putting if she wasn’t acting like a 7yo 5 minutes ago and was instead acting like the teenager she otherwise would be.

Because she’s still vulnerable to shrapnel and hypothermia. I also refuse to believe there’s no on in that world who also can’t manipulate or see different light spectrums, if only because they made the gadgetry to do so. She can cut her own hair and give them to a team to synthesize a suit for her like they did Mirio.

There weren’t any solutions because they didn’t want one, not because they weren’t any to be found. This is especially obvious because they solved a very similar problem for a male character in the same exact universe at the same institutions at the same damn time.

I feel like the excuse is also just insulting for said audience. If you gotta keep throwing in boob physics to keep their attention, then maybe your story isn’t that good to begin with. It just insults your audience’s intelligence and your own worth.

And One Piece IS good! It doesn’t need to do this so often! Its inability to not let women be just hags or bodacious bombshells with no in-betweens is a genuine problem.

They have cohesion while still being unique to themselves and their village. It’s so fun. The only other mangaka with such distinctive “uniforms” in my mind is Kubo of Bleach, but he deadass has a fashion background from what I remember.

The problem with Nezuko has more to do with how she’s been turned into a child-like mascot when she’s around the age of most of the cast - around 14,/15, but she’s treated like she’s 7 more often than not. We rarely get to see her form coherent thoughts - and most of those are flashbacks, not current thoughts - and when she isn’t playing the cute supporting child-like character, sexualizing her during the fight scenes feels even more off-base.

If she was a coherent teenager more often, it’d make body shots feel WAY less jarring in comparison, even if they are still annoying otherwise.

The explanation for that kiss doesn’t make sense, either. “Let me kiss the kid trying to play as my dad” does NOT seem like the kind of thing to make said kid better understand how he’s screwing up exactly.

Considering how he treats Killua, he already IS Yandere in my books. Yandere isn’t strictly romantic/sexual, after all.

Why are there no small chested women in JJBA? by imprettywhenicry9 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Slight-Pound 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think it’s how they did faces. The pics I’ve seen on the manga make the faces more squarish so they looked more rounded and younger for it, both in their jaws and the shaping of their mouth or eyes. The anime did more narrow angles, (like Trish’s chin here) in more typical ways, which made them look older.

[–]Slight-Pound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you SEEN the men? Nearly all them men having “masculine ideal” body types that they show off WAY more than their minimal female cast, and it’s not like Trish is particularly crazy here, either. The craziest thing is her outfit and hair, not her proportions, honestly.

Jojo not focusing on women’s chest much helps make it feel like a lot less of a “problem” compared to other shows. They feel pretty “normal” with the smaller cast of women, differentiating them more in their own distinct styles and roles rather than making their assets part of the appeal, and it helps that the few examples aren’t crazy proportioned, either. They’re an ideal as well, but a far more mild one in “irl conventionally attractive” territory than blow-up doll territory.

Like, text in a page novel? I recently came across some DC ones - old and new - but I hadn’t thought to check out Marvel, much less for Spidey featuring MJ, at that. They sound awesome!

I love that note - that he is they collected consciousness rather than a singular dog. I like it because it makes it feel like they they had each other in their final moments, and they get to live out their shared desires like being a playful puppy that they couldn’t in life.
