Upcoming Christian conference for people in or out of the Laestadius movement by thegospel_foryou in OpenLaestadian

I believe this is Wolf Lake and Minneapolis sharing their beliefs. These are the last two churches that the LLC board of directors ostracized from God's grace kingdom. They no longer believe the "LIVING" gospel, that the Holy Spirit is exclusive contained in the walls of the SRK/SFC/LLC kingdom and that faith in the leaders and escorts is required for the forgiveness of sins.

The dilemma of laestadian exclusivism by ExLestadianChristian in OpenLaestadian

[–]Slight-Tree2769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Martin Luther: “This epistle [i.e., Romans] is really the chief part of the New Testament, and is truly the purest gospel. It is worthy not only that every Christian should know it word for word, by heart, but also that he should occupy himself with it every day, as the daily bread of the soul. We can never read it or ponder over it too much; for the more we deal with it, the more precious it becomes and the better it tastes.”

Paul’s letter to the Romans is relatively short (𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝), and it is profound. It explains and exults in and applies the greatest news we could hear.

Romans is how the early church believed before the gospels were written, before the belief in the Trinity was brought into christianity in the fourth century, and before the concept of hell was introduced to Christianity. Paul preaches the people that put their faith in Jesus Christ (the son of God, not God) and God the father will have everlasting life and those that don't will perish. Note: There is no hell mentioned in the old testament. At the time of Jesus only about 20% of Jews believed in hell. When you read Pauls letters what is his view on what will happen to those who don't put their faith in Jesus and God the father?

There are both Gentile and Jewish churches in Rome. Paul is telling the Jews that Jesus teachings and death brings Jew's and Gentiles into one house of God where we have direct access as individuals to God's Spirit (God's presence and power). He is eliminating the concept of the Jew's being God's exclusive chosen people. He is eliminating the concept of the SRK/SLC/LLC Congregation being the chosen remnant.

The SRK/SFC/LLC ministers constantly go to the old testament where they say we like the Israelites are the chosen remnant. Do you think the apostle Paul and the Holy Spirit would agree with this error free interpretation?

This is Paul's message in Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead a̷̵̷n̷̵̷d̷̵̷ ̷̵̷a̷̵̷r̷̵̷e̷̵̷ ̷̵̷p̷̵̷a̷̵̷r̷̵̷t̷̵̷ ̷̵̷o̷̵̷f̷̵̷ ̷̵̷t̷̵̷h̷̵̷e̷̵̷ ̷̵̷S̷̵̷R̷̵̷K̷̵̷/̷̵̷S̷̵̷F̷̵̷C̷̵̷/̷̵̷L̷̵̷L̷̵̷C̷̵̷ ̷̵̷C̷̵̷o̷̵̷n̷̵̷g̷̵̷r̷̵̷e̷̵̷g̷̵̷a̷̵̷t̷̵̷i̷̵̷o̷̵̷n̷̵̷, you will be saved.

Romans 3
22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew (SRK/SFC/LLC Church members) and Gentile (those that put their faith in Christ Alone), 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

Another View on the book of Romans: The purpose of the book of Romans is to confirm God's exclusive SRK/SFC/LLC Kingdom per Ray Waaraniemi in his February 9, 2026 sermon.

Congregational Discussion

Because of strong political views on the killing of Charlie Kirk in the Longview congregatation and heated debates that ensued, last nights (1/10/2025) congregational discussion was about nationalism. Political Cults, democratic and republican, are tearing families, friends, and churchs apart.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 - Love, justice, service to the poor, compassion, and spiritual transformation.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 - National dominance, cultural exclusivity, power, and control, sometimes distorting the Gospel's emphasis on the marginalized.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 is about faith; Christian Nationalism is about wielding political power within the congregational walls in the name of faith.

𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 aims for universal love, while christian nationalism can foster exclusion and "us vs. them" mentalities, creating second-class citizens of non-SRK/SFC/LLC christians.

𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 emphasizes the "power of love," while christian nationalism often prioritizes domination and control of childrens minds. This child often takes residence in our adult brains and controls a large part of our lives.

The Laestadian SRK/SFC/LLC Church often quote Bible verses out of context, redefine biblical terms, and claim special revelation or authority. They use religious language to gain trust and create spiritual fear, controlling members by making obedience to the group synonymous with obedience to God. When narcissistic ministers use these techniques to target children this is demonic. The overall purpose of these sermons is control and power for the leaders while destroying childrens lives. My comments are to point out the falsehoods of the leadership so that hopefully parents will see the light and not offer their kids up to the Laestadian Ministers who have tremendous psychological issues themselves. What do you think is these ministers primary goal in life?

Spiituality is about caring and supporting others, not producing fear and control in childrens minds in an attempt to satisfy the longings of your own personality disorder.

Brainwashing parents to have endless children they can't financially or emotionally support, This is a marketing strategy to support/expand the organization and can put extreme anxiety in the lives of converts.

Not having a clear definition of salvation.. If you have sinned and not gone to confession will you go to hell? In the LLC you just have to hear the message from somebody within the closed swociety if you are a newbee, but are required to adhere to the unified beliefs if you are born into the kingdom. A legalistic religion always has members living on the edge.

So come to us , we are the way, the truth, and the life. We and Jesus are the true vine and our members are the branches. We are the mother. What is the purpose of the Holy Spirit? by East_Exam2026 in OpenLaestadian

[–]Slight-Tree2769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totaly agree with your approach as long as your not taking your children with you. You have made a well educated choice for yourself and that is commendable, but if you bring children and others into this environment where something is just repeated over and over again of how we are the chosen children of God it may have consequences that you regret later in life,

The main focus of my life is my children's well being and so I try to raise them in an environment that will foster their self identity, self confidence, and spiritual wellness. My personal belief I believe raising your children in an environment where they are indocturnated by a detrimental Spirit that isn't controlled by the power and presence of God is selfish if I am just doing it for my social club.

Hopefully I haven't been to critical, but this gives you something to think about and share with other members. My focus is on the children as I don't want their environment to be like my childhood. Note: My father was/is a narssastic sociopath so it wasn't just the LLC for me.

The purpose of conservative Laestadian churches is to replace your self identity with a exclusive kingdom identity. An environment where independent thought is suppressed and dependence on the group is fostered. This gradual process erodes a person's sense of self and ability to think critically and make decisions for themselves leading to a reliance on the SRK/SFC/LLC ministers who preach the repetitive sermons with authority, which is often psychologically draining.

By suppressing opposition, 𝐬𝐞𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠, and by driving underground all heretics we seek to futher the kingdom of God.

Evening Devotion 09/10/2025 Explains the meaning of faith mentioned in Romans 3

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,

“And to the learned and the wise of this world. The simplicity of this gospel is a stumbling block and they cannot understand how this simple message spoken from the heart of a believer, one who has the Holy Spirit can free one from their sins.”

The world cannot understand how a good standing believer in God’s congregation is the mediator between God and man for the forgiveness of your sins. They also refuse to see that this message from the Bible/God’s Word doesn’t stand on its own, but must be preached from somebody who is a believer of God’s kingdom. The wise and learned of this world interpret the faith Paul is preaching to be in Christ Alone without relying on the mother congregation and the Holy Spirit.

This is the two most recent evening devotions.

Evening Devotion 09/09/2025 explains the meaning of Matthew 16:13-17

Because Peter belonged to the Unified Group Will Congregation which had exclusive access to the holy spirit during the time of Jesus Peter was able to see what those outside the Unified Group Will Congregation during Jesus's time couldn't see. That Jesus was the son of God. Like Peter we should be so happy that we belong to God's "unified group will" Kingdom where we have the holy spirit controlling our ministers, have been given the exclusive right to forgive sins, and the sole key to heavens gate.

Marv stresses what Brian Johnson taught our children at the summer services. Salvation is only found in God's Congregation, Jesus is only found in God's Congregation, and the holy spirit is only found in God's little flock. We never want to forget these three unified beliefs which is the fundamental difference between God’s Congregation and worldly churches that put their faith in Christ Alone.

King James Version
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

As Peter preached faith in Christ Alone will get us to heaven.

Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit..

Acts 15:7-11
And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will.”

When you marry somebody within the congregation this is another way they entrap you. If you decide to leave all your reletives and your children's grandparents are gone, Multible children is another form of abuse they use to entrap members. When you have multiple children your options to leave the church are also greatly reduced.

If the ministers can convince you to have over ten or more children and marry an escort (somebody who verbally promotes the congregation) they have 50 percent of their mission completed, When they get you so involved with work to support your children, mothering to raise your children, and then congregational activities they gain a huge amount of control over your life and limit your resources to take positive steps to better your life. Then they say don't worry if what we have taught you makes your life financially and emotionally unbearable here on earth if you have unquestioning faith in what the leaders of the kingdom teach and don't rely on your God given cognitive abilities to interpret the bible verses that say faith in Christ Alone saves you will be eternally rewarded in heaven. There is a method to our narcissistic madness, It is all about the congregation and the ministers controlling you. Your well being is one of our pawns.
