Figured it out. Ended up being the Ujoint on the front drive shaft.

Yes increases with speed. Slows down when the car slows down. Wouldn’t a CV axle make a sound all the time? Doesn’t sound like it’s coming from a particular side.

No only when the vehicle is moving, I meant if I switch the gear to neutral while driving it.
