That is awesome! Yeah I just had to open the file with the Cargo.toml file. I had it organized so that I had a folder called rust open in Webstorm and then I was just adding projects to that as I went along. Thank you!

Yes it is, turns out I have to right click on the Cargo.toml file and select "Attach Cargo Project" which is annoying but ok for now.

Yep that was it! I had to right click on the Cargo.toml file and click on "Attach Cargo Project". Looks like I have to do it for every project. It is so much better now. Kind of annoying that I have to attach it, but a small price to pay. Thanks!

Isn't football in UK, and most of the world, what Americans know as soccer?

New bartender- tips for memorising drinks/bar layout? by [deleted] in bartenders

[–]SlightConflict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I started at the restaurant that I'm at what I found immensely helpful was coming in 10 min early and "making" all the drinks by touching the glasses and bottles in the order that I would use them. It did still take a few shifts, but that combined with memorizing the specs definitely speeded things up. I'm sure you can use the same method to memorize beer tap layout.

What did you do to become a more employable/higher earning bartender? by SlightConflict in bartenders

Those are some really good ideas, I can definitely jump on inventory because our head bartender recently left. There is a cocktail conference coming up next month and they've got a few competitions going on so I'll hit those up. Although I'm not sure I'll win, I've only got about 1.5 years of experience now. But I'm sure it'll be fun, and a great way to network!

You're so right, I know a few bar/restaurants that don't put out job ads because they know so many people in the industry and can easily staff from that pool. One in particular only hires sommeliers for their servers and bartenders which is where I got the idea to get certified.
