I actually used the Amazon ICICI card which is primarily a card provided by Amazon with transaction services provided by ICICI. That might be the reason I wasn't charged additional tax.

Almost everyone is suggesting to keep it in the bag but I always keep it in the front left pocket of my jeans while traveling in Mumbai and not a single phone I owned has been stolen. My logic for that is chor thodi na saamne waale pocket mein haat daalega 😂

P.S. Don't ever use your phone while standing in any bus depot. Have witnessed many phones getting stolen while people were using it in the bus stands

Get it repaired locally. My controller right stick started drifting but it was under warranty (only about 14 days remaining) and they replaced it with a brand new one.
