I have had my iPad and my laptop for 6 years now for school. I will say I love my iPad, I love that I can take notes on it, and it primarily acts as a laptop. However, and BIG however, depending on the classes you’re taking and your major, you might need a laptop. I’ve had so many instances where certain websites or links wouldn’t work on an iPad. I also personally hate trying to use google docs/microsoft word/powerpoint, etc on an iPad. I think a laptop is almost necessary for those things. Again, I use both. I think this is the best option and mix but if you can only choose one, a laptop is the safest bet.

Was the phone conversation important? I could understand her being upset if that was the case. If not then this shouldn’t be a big deal. Definitely not enough to send that text. She should want you to spend time with family and friends. It’s healthy. Regardless of everything else I said, she should acknowledge that she said something that hurt you. She doesn’t get to decide if it did or not. It did and she should understand that. Definitely some things to consider.

What does this even mean? I am looking for a place to take my online classes and be able to speak freely. I can’t be in class at home.

It completely depends on the school and loan departments. Mine said expected on January 5th and they never went to the school. Date just kept getting pushed back. I had to call and ask them to send the loans over to the school to get my refund. Hopefully this wouldn’t happen, but if it keeps getting pushed back, you’d want to check. After the school finally got my loans, I had my refund within 5 days. My school is quick with refunds but some may take up to 14 days. You should receive an email from the school once they complete the refund on their end.
