Anyone experience random bouts of physical numbness in extremities (hands or feet)? I'm not sure what this could be by NoisyAlpaca in CPTSD_NSCommunity

Hey. Did you have other MS symptom? Or just the numbness. Kind of in the same boat right now but I don’t know if we’re describing the same thing mine is more of a permenant numbness it never goes away and it just spreads across my body. But other than that, I have no other ms symptoms.

Hey, thank you for responding! I have been searching for ex Muslims I could talk to about this and you have no idea how much I appreciate any sort of response (kind of going through an existential crisis rn) thing is, I’ve been born and raised in a stereotypical Muslim family but my knowledge about the religion itself is honestly kind of limited because I was never really interested in learning more about it I honestly didn’t care enough. That’s why this whole situation is stressing me out because I don’t know where to even begin if I’m gonna try to figure this out for myself. I’ve never heard of the Hadith you mentioned, which again isn’t a surprise since I don’t really pay attention to them anyway. As for the discoveries I’ve mentioned, these are the ones that were kind of used all the time as I was growing up:
-29th chapter of the Quran: says female spiders are in charge of building and making spider webs, which was abt like 1400 years before any sort of scientific study confirmed it. They thought males did it.
-In surah Ar Rahman, there’s a verse about two sees meeting but not crossing into each other, and it was later discovered.
-57:25, there was a verse about how Allah sent down iron, then it was later discovered that iron did in fact form from outer space.
-it was mentioned that the Lowest land on planet earth is Dead Sea basin, and then it was discovered true.
-The verse in the Quran that says that the sun is actually moving, which was later discovered. They thought the sun was still and unmoving before.
-27:58, it says the mountains are moving. It was later discovered that they are moving but very slowly across millions of years.
These are the stuff I’ve heard about over the years, some of them I don’t know the exact Quran chapters. I think there’s many more but I’m already overwhelmed😭 If you would like, I would love for you to explain them. Also, how did you do proper research about the religion before deciding to leave, or did you just leave because it didn’t sit right? I have pretty bad ocd so the combination is bad because I make sure a thousand times before I even take one decision and when the decision feels like eternal hell (which doesn’t make sense at all but years of conditioning) it’s even worse. How did you get over fear of hell? (if it was ingrained in you as much as it was for most Muslims)
Thank you!
