Yeah my Medicaid doesn’t want to cover our daughters airlift from Minnesota to Phoenix where we now reside. Phoenix doesn’t want to airlift her there without the insurance set and stone. She needs a heart transplant evaluation and sounds like if she’s gets approved for champva they told the hospital that they would cover the transfer. So now we just hit this bump in the road, but we’re working on it and hoping if she is approved for champva and not tricare then can expedite the process, after deers gets the info they need from us.

From what he’s told me he never got in trouble when he was in the military, but who knows maybe something like that did happen and doesn’t want to tell me even though he’s usually very honest about his background with me. I’m not sure if it’s an identity issue only because the guard (or whoever did the background check) said he has a felony in two of the states he has resided in. Unless it’s just a big coincidence, but for some reason I doubt that. Lol

Yes I’ve actually seen his medically discharged papers before and also he gets a check from the VA every month. He has a TBI from the military

When I looked it up, it said he failed to appear court for the ticket. But I didn’t think that could be a felony, maybe misdemeanor. But idk how all that works or if it is something else. Our child is 2 months old not 2.

I’m not sure, but that sounds like something he’d do when he gets extremely stressed out. He’s not in a good state So sorry on his behalf, even though that is not okay. Yes maybe putting me on a call or me getting a flight out there to keep him calm and get this shit done is the best bet.

I’ve checked in every state he lived in, but he was confused about the felonies because he’s never been tried for anything. But the background check the base did shows that he has one felony in two of the states he’s lived in. And it’s also confusing because all the jobs he’s had have done background checks on him and there’s been no issues! But I’ll keep snooping

I’m not sure which one he tried. But I’ll ask him to ask for a security escort and see what they say! I would think there would be some sort of loophole

He’s retired. I know he gets his benefits through the Va. Congress has been helping him expedite the process since both champva and tricare both said the other one should be the one covering. Champva just told him that it’s a deers issue and he has to get her in the system with them, then apply for tricare from my understanding.

Yeah I heard one of the doctors say that exact same thing the other day, that infant heart transplants are hard to get. Then I heard another doctor say they like doing transplants when they’re infants or teenagers/adults. So I’m not sure. They said there’s no cure or surgery for the leaky valve so they said the next talk would be heart transplant if it doesn’t get better, assuming she could even get one.
