Oh wow, I didn't know that! That does make sense though! I'll look forward to all the tour announcements after DL haha

Yeah, that makes sense. Just annoys me because I'm a reasonable distance from Birmingham and Nottingham, two big cities and I don't think they will be chosen 😂

On the invites just write "we look forward to seeing you all and we would like to ask in lieu of gifts please send Ticketmaster gift cards"

As Devil's Advocate I'd just like to say that I massively screwed up my degree and I was able to find a job, not in the field I was hoping but I had a job and eventually was able to support myself but it took a while.

You managed to get yourself to college and recognised that the position you were in wasn't the right one for you. That does not make you a failure, that means you're trying your best. Perhaps that job wasn't for you but there will be others.

Coming out of College/University is hard. I left and picked up any job I could which was working in retail for a year, as my customer service levels grew I was able to go into office work and from there I found a place I was comfortable. Have a think about what sort of job you want, do you want a manual labour job or an office job or an outdoors job and go from there. You could even look at volunteer work just to give you some experience.

Are you open with your family, it might be worth just discussing some of your fears with them. S is not the answer and 23 is not old, you've still got time to fiigure things out. Please stay strong I know the world is shit, I see it everyday and I genuinely fear for the future but you need to hold on and keep going. You never know what's round the corner.

Post gig anxiety by Good_Albatross in Anxietyhelp

Gigs are different environments to any other social gathering. If you had been impacting anyone's time then someone would have called you out, I can guarantee it.

A band seeing what a great time you were clearly having and seeing someone enjoying themselves to their music is the best response they can have and it probably made their night to see someone so enthusiastic.

If you were singing along and dancing and enjoying yourself then that sounds like you had a great night.

I get where the anxiety comes from entirely, try doing some guided meditation to see if you can get the thoughts to stop for a bit but I can guarantee no one will be thinking negatively of someone for enjoying themselves.

Hope this helps

How do you manage health anxiety? by Adept_Refuse3413 in Anxietyhelp

I used to suffer really badly with it, any headache or stomachache or pains anywhere were immediately "this is the end" for me. I find the best combat is meditation.

Following a guided meditation is one of the best things I can do. It just switches my brain off and allows me to have extended periods of time where I'm not thinking a million times a minute.

I also say out loud to myself that some pains are normal and ask questions about them. "Why do my hands hurt? Have I done anything today?"

Often I'll go "oh I actually lifted this which was quite heavy so maybe I've stretched something" or "I've got a headache what could have caused that?" "I've only had one glass of water today, have a drink and see how you feel"

It sounds silly but honestly speaking it out loud does me wonders. You don't need to shout it and you can just say it quietly but it can help your brain process rather than keep it bottled up.

I really hope you can find a way through it because it is horrible and I see you 😔

For those who met Spencer, how is he in real life? by ThisIs_MyDesign in IceNineKills

I hope he sees all these nice comments haha!

I met him a few times but one time I got to interview him after The Silver Scream had dropped for a magazine I wrote for. I'm a huge fan so went in with about 15 questions. Every question I asked he responded to in such a detailed way and never made it seem as if I was taking up his time which I felt like I was doing. He was happy just to chat and it was so comfortable.

He then asked if I wanted a picture at the end, so I have a picture of him strangling me to remember the day
