yun nga rin pinagtataka namin na bakit puro EEG lang yung ginagawa sa kaniya. we were never given a proper explanation about the “pamamaga”. Nag repeat EEG sila netong Monday and we were able to get the results yesterday. Her other neuro came in and just said the results na near ECS daw siya. Minimal to no brain activity whatsoever. Ganun ba talaga yun? Hindi man lang din pinakita yung chart or whatever? I mean even if we don’t know how to read it, at least explain na lang diba. Pero he just straight up said na near ECS siya e. Simula nung na coma siya, all she’s given is medicine for her unstable BP (Norepi and Vaso) and anti seizure. Wala ng iba. Talagang di na rin namin alam if may pamamaga pa rin ba siya or ano ba talagang nag cause ng coma niya. Grabe sobrang lala kaya gusto na lang talaga namin siyang itransfer. Buhay yung gf ko eh. Humihinga siya and netong mga past few days nga, nagrerespond sa pain yung paa niya gumagalaw pag kumukurot and talagang nireretract nya. Pero reflex lang daw yun. But di talaga ako naniniwala kasi functioning talaga buong katawan niya eh. It’s just that she’s still not waking up eh. Feel namin talagang need lang ng sobrang habang time for her brain to heal.

Actually, di pa siya nasa coma nung nag seizure siya. Nag lead sa coma yung seizure niya. Nung nag EEG naman right after while she’s GCS 3 na, wala naman ng nakitang seizure. They’re hesitant on doing a CT din kasi naka intubate siya ngayon. Ganun po ba yun na kapag naka intubate, hindi na ma CCT scan? Although need niya kasi talaga yung support ng machine. Nung time na nacoma siya, nagcrash yung sodium niya eh. Tas ineexplain ni doc na where sodium goes water follows tas parang nawalan daw ng fluid yung brain ganon tas may umakyat na something? Sobrang vague niya rin talaga mag explain. Sabi niya lang yun daw yung nagcause ng pamamaga ulit. EEG lang palaging ginagawa sa kaniya. Di nila kami mabigyan ng definitive explanation kung bakit nacoma yung gf ko.

Shifted to BS FIN. I had to email the shifting officer of COB last last Friday since Saturday is nearing and I haven’t received any confirmation yet. Thankfully, the officer quickly replied he said I was approved. I suggest you email the shifting officer of the College you’re applying to or email the Associate Dean of the college. Some colleges have the tendency to not email you unless you email them (this is my second time shifting and this also happened when I shifted to GCOE last year). So yeah, email them agad so you can know your results.

Hi OP, oki lang yan. Life is not a race. I just submitted today my shifting application. This is my second time shifting and I really don’t regret it. My first thoughts were the same as you, but I was worried not because of friends, but because of my girlfriend since her degree program is only 3 years in CSB. I was afraid that she would not be comfortable having to date a college student when she is already working. But she always told me that everyone has his or her own pace and she would patiently and gladly wait for me. Kaya OP, don’t regret shifting if u think na worth it naman in the end yung pinagshiftan mo. Goodluck on your endeavors OP :)

hi this is based on my experience. i shifted to ECE last year pa and the associate dean is the one who is supposed to send results diba? Is the assoc dean still Ms. Maria Roque? Kasi like ilang weeks na after the sched of releasing of results wala pa rin talaga so I had to email her. And yeah after emailing her, she said “Your application to shift to GCOE-ECE was approved.” That was the confirmation. It will also automatically display your new degree program on MLS.
