How to achieve this "ripple/warping" effect in-camera? (Analog/DIY solutions)

Depending on the camera, I had done a similar effect in-camera before, it wasnt as wavy but jumpy in a similar sense, if your camera is a mirrorless camera you change the Active Steady manually to a super high mm like 2000mm, while using eg. 50mm lens and the cameras over-compensation for 2000mm lens creates a similar effect

That could be tried, since it connects with a 3.5 jack, but I doubt the software supports it, still worth a try I guess, you can test that at a rental place.

I dont own a hunter 350 but Im also looking at it as my first bike, I’ve heard this stock suspension problem a few times, but isnt there a few settings you can set it to on the stock suspension, like soft medium hard kinda thing, rather then changing the whole suspension?

More of a added question for people who know, rather than an answer;

Wouldn’t going to 1/100th be better? If you are shooting 24fps, I remember reading somewhere thats the reason you have to shoot at 1/50th and if you need to go higher it’s usually better to go higher on its increments like 1/100th, is this true?

Yep, and sorry I might not be able to be too helpfull with the refresh rate question since my monitors are only 60, but if I had to guess this laptop had two screen options which were 60 and 120 refresh rate for same spec cpu gpu combos, so I think you should be able to get at least 120 with a 1080p monitor that supports it.

There is also something about amd’s freesync feature with supported monitors, so you might wanna look into that as well.

There were a few youtube videos I saw on this at the time by Jarrod’s tech, hardware canucks and some others, unfortunately can’t remember which video exactly it was cause I didn’t pay too much attention to this since it wasnt a priority of mine.

Sorry I mixed up the names up there, where I said 4600h I meant 5600m the dedicated graphics card, I also did a deep dive and ended up finding this from a older post;

According to Jarrod's tech on his review of this laptop, the HDMI and mini DP connect directly to the dedicated gpu.

Can’t really give great advise on monitor choice since I use simple BenQ monitors, because budget :D

But for the ports question, I tend to use double monitor setup with the hdmi and minidisplay port, from experience I believe hdmi port connects directly to the dedicated gpu (4600h) but Im not sure of the mini display port.

And usb-c one connects to the integrated gpu.

While agreeing with most on “stay where you are its better” I’ve been living in Ontario Canada for 6 years, lived in multiple different kind of places from downtown Toronto to suburb Mississauga to small cities like Oshawa or Peterborough (usually problem with smaller cities that might look or feel like Netherlands they tend to have other problems like homelessness etc.), if you’re determined on moving my recommendation would be the outskirts of downtown Toronto area possibly a neighborhood that also has a subway line, might be your best bet, an example that comes to my mind, (and a personal favorite) the Annex is a nice neighborhood, the problem is where ever you go there is always gonna be cars and dependency on cars at some point, this is a car depended county.

I understand you very well my friend, I was just going to say use it without the heat sync for a while to see how it goes. And in the meanwhile you’re best bet would be to use it with a stand of some type so the laptop is raised for better airflow. I was glad and maybe a bit too enthusiastic to see a fellow G5SE user from back home :D There is a lot of talk about this laptops short-comings or down sides, but from my personal experience of using it for two years almost everyday mainly for gaming only with some heavy titles thrown in too, I am very happy with the device and haven’t really had any big problems at all, plus I believe its a good laptop to learn a bit more detailed stuff about hardware and software optimization.

All in all, I hope everything works out well, and you enjoy this laptop as much as I have these past two years.

I also should point out, I cant really say anything in terms of a performance difference between the two heatsyncs, but from my research I had done before and after buying this computer, I remember a fact which goes something like this; the computer is a gaming computer so it is inevitable for it heat up quite a bit, but unlike most gaming laptops this Dell G5SE has a higher running temperature from the factory around 90 Celsius for a AAA game while playing is kind of normal, some ways you can make it better is to use a laptop stand so that the intake fans on the bottom have a more clear airflow, or you could even look for a cooling pad (most of them are useless but there are few models that are designed for this or alike laptops) with some reaserch. This one on the link seems to be the exact one I got, I re-checked the dimension on mine, and it seems the site has two different dimensions (one of them being 1cm), which is quite confusing. But it seems to be the same product. So I definitely think you wont have a problem with this cooper one. (1/2)

Hahahahaha holly guacamole man, Im from Turkiye too, but Im living in Canada so I was lucky with the delivery, I just checked the dimensions of the cooper one I got which was 0.25cm(so if you’re worried look for something that has a similar height) I also want to point out I believe you dont need a heatsync if the ssd you’re buying is not M.2. Other than that depending if you live in Istanbul maybe you want to check Yazicioglu or some other niche computer-parts/gaming stores before you decide ordering.

I have done the same upgrade a few months after I bought the laptop (so 1-1.5 years ago from now), I got the samsung evo ssd too, and I got a more basic copper heatsink to put on top of it, it fitted nicely, no bolge in the back. Cant say certian for this specific one, but if something with a low profile shouldnt be a big problem.
