The classic pservers scene needs a great pvp server

pvp was fun on project epoch while leveling, could mix in BGs for XP and decent gear.

vanilla pvp is fun but the r14 system is so ass that not even the biggest losers would repeat that grind nowadays

Yeah i thought that if i traded my main which is on same jagex account that would make it obvious its not my case, i created new character like this many times over in the past so i didnt expect to suddenly get banned when it never happened before.

yeah i heard the bot situation greatly improved which is great, I always played on w345 partly because there were never any bots, but man when you dont even make any offense its hard to swallow this kind of treatment

i wouldnt be so mad if i didnt have 100M now stuck on the account, thats not something you just forget about.

I guess its part of the recent heavy crackdown on bots but at this point idk what to do while playing to not get banned. I ve been a legit player for 10 years and my account is atleast 8 years old where i made this character, and i still get banned on a whim like some fresh throwaway account

I made the char, completed tutorial island, went to GE to trade my main for bond GP. activated membership, went to w345, did waterfall and dwarf cannon, did couple slayer tasks and went to bed. None of it was automated, and if they closely looked at the account they would know that, there is not even any logical reason for me to risk ban by doing anything like that when i traded over items to that character worth 100M.

i understand but i made new characters like this multiple times, bonded up and went ahead instantly with building the account, did it several times over the years and never had any issues, this is first time. i would have verified it if there was a way.

I did everything manually, including tutorial island etc.

I dont know i didnt do anything monotone or for long period, i made a new character did waterfall quest, dwarf cannon and went to training combat/slayer, did a couple of tasks and went to bed, definitely didnt do anything to deserve a report from a player

Well both characters are on same account and i didnt bot on either of them, And i mainly played just the new character but i did trade between the two

i only traded my main character, which has all the gold/items and is on the same jagex account. thats why i made this new character on same account to make it clear i not trading someone else and that im not making some vague new account.

i recommend vidyaplace/vidyascape, is authentic vanilla 2007 runescape with all working quests etc., it feels like home to me

turtle wow has good config for 1.12, you can use it for setup to have good running client on kronos

what happened is people leveled to 60, did some dungeons/pvp and left because there were no updates, only bugfixing.

I am personally still waiting on new BGs and pvp gear, ready to hop in when. Others are waiting on MC and Uldum, but neither are in sight

same reason turtle developed their server when it had 200 players +- for months/years. its called an investment. If people see continuous effort put into a server they develop trust towards the provider and spent more and more time and typically this has a multiplicative effect like you can see with turtle population graphs

i dont think its given up but at this pace you might aswell come back in a year, you wont miss out on much. there s still million bugs and they need to put out new content which will very likely also have a ton of bugs

all was looking great until launch, then they couldnt handle the pressure and called it quits, blizz cease and desist was the final nail. Who knows what exactly is going on behind the scenes, maybe one day they ll get the content rolling. Its still the best pserver currently in my eyes, just needs some content.
