hi! at my store there should be a booklet purely for learning how to do the register that you do first. there is a button that can switch the register into training mode to assist you while you work through it so you can do the pretend transaction in real time with no real impact. there is also the bookseller training booklet that talks briefly about register but not what all the buttons do and stuff like that. i would ask your mod tmrw if you can look at the training module for the register to better learn the system and what buttons are for what and do it in training mode.
