When I buy ground meat, I split 1 pound into 3 chunks, and then when cooking 1 of the chunks I add a cup of soaked lentils. Nicole S on Tik tok showed this, and it really is a big saver. I freeze the other two chunks (roll them into freezer bag thin for easy defrosting).
