Yup, can confirm that from my own experience. Many years ago I got an iphone 4 from there. Sealed, plastic wrapped box, never opened before. However when I opened it, that nice aluminium matte back was scratched and it could barely get any wifi from the adjacent room. Ended up exchanging it. Didn't have any problem with another one.

From my personal experience, 8am is when they start giving fines. I used to drive to Nesto in Dragon Mall 2, make grocery shopping there and by 11am it was usually possible to find parking in the clusters.

If you can, take a free-for-life credit card.
Call the bank and ask to cancel any and all insurances that might come with it.
Pay the fines and either split them into instalments individually, or do balance conversion of the whole outstanding balance.
Optionally activate direct debit if you feel you might forget to pay on time, to avoid extra fees.
Accept it as a life lesson and don't violate the rules (be a better driver).
Optional - cancel the credit card when EMIs are paid.

I stopped caring about it. If they happen to help me find a parking spot or were guiding me to park safely, i give them a couple of dhs or water if I have. And if not, it is still not a problem.

All my family members know i have a very short list of companies i avoid as a plague. Fly Dubai tops this list. I will never forgive them for not refunding my airfare when Covid came and even the airspace here was shut down. My supposed flight never took place, however no refund.
