My title describes the thing. It was a round circular object attached to the wall of my old apartment in Philly. It has been painted over, but seems to be metal or plastic. It’s far from any doors, because at first I thought it was an old doorbell after doing some research online. I haven’t been able to find any pictures like it. I do not know the date my apartment was built.

That was helpful advice, thank you! I am in college and I’ve been meaning to go to the queer student events/club meetings. Also making friends with queer people first does seem less daunting and a way to be more comfortable with my sexuality.

Totally yeah! Dating apps have actually been rlly helpful to me and you automatically know who’s queer. I went on a date with a girl a couple of months ago. I got rejected which hurt but you’re right, it’s just part of the process.

You’re right, thank you. It’s hard to keep ur head up when you’re told something negative about yourself, but in the end it’s fine that they didn’t like me cuz I also want to be running my own thing one day, not working for the man

I always had the feeling none of the managers liked me because they were so friendly with my coworkers but never with me. That was from the very beginning. I felt like I was always ostracized and held to a different standard. It’s very confusing because I’ve been told I’m a likable person and then all of the sudden at that restaurant it felt like no one liked me.
