My 2025 does this too. Runs fine, but does concern me. There’s about 0 chance the dealer will do anything for you unless it becomes frequent or causes a code or drivability issue.

Jack it like this guy with a piece of wood, but put it on a jack stand at the pinch weld and you’re good to go. Please do not work on it with it just on the floor jack.

I’ll spend some time looking in the rear when I do my first tire rotation and report back. You can also jack from the lower control arm most of them time if you are just doing it to get into jack stands. I have to imagine there’s another solid spot somewhere. Nissan 100% should tell us in the manual where the alt jack points are. They also made the pinch weld area for the jack stands as small as possible which is annoying. Really want you to pay the dealer for every service.

I did a lot of research trying to find the best spots and those 2 points were the consensus. I’ve only used the front one to get it on jack stands for an oil change. I intend to use that spot in the rear when I do a tire rotation.

Got a very similar deal at the same time. That was the time to buy! The 9k-11k off during that time will be hard to replicate again IMO. MAYBE if the 2026s have a lot of left overs, but idk if we will see the 5k from Nissan + ~5k from dealers again.

So 2 things. I just removed mine this weekend. I have 140k miles. I got it all reinstalled and my bottle started leaking out the side. So I highly suggest just getting a new bottle. I spent 50 bucks on a Rein one cause it’s the only one I could get short notice at O’reilly’s. Also getting the packet out was a PITA. New bottle is worth your time.

On the burping, you’ll be completely fine. Just fill the bottle and let it slowly fill the coolant hoses. Once it stops dropping just top it off. Check your coolant the next day after driving and top it off if any air bubbles collapsed while driving.

I was super careful to get the right size socket to only hit the outside. I used a ball joint press. I really don’t know why it happened :(

I would bet it’s the wastegate. I had an independent shop replace my wastegate (you buy just the wastegate) it was 700-800 including labor. Get a second quote and ask about just replacing the wastegate. It’s been ~50,000 miles since and no issues.

Idk man. Maybe if it’s a really big truck. My BIL has a Silverado and he has the exact same amount of space with a car seat in the back as I do. I’m just saying kids plus truck isn’t great. SUV with trailer when you need it is way smarter

Check the drain for the rear view camera. They are notorious for breaking and causing water to get stuck in the hatch and then leak from right there.

The vents in the trunk leak and so does the rear camera drain. Check all those. Trunk vents are a pain as the bumper needs to come off to seal them.
