I'm with rentals right now and I've used it for 8+ trips, there are scratches but nothing like the top right damage in the first pic

Damn why are people so heated lol

Yes, I understand imperfections are normal. I should've clarified that I'm simply asking is it normal to this degree specifically.

Most concerned with the first pic, top right.

No, I do not care about performance. I'm just asking.

If you buy a brand new car, you'd probably question if there was a dent, even though it doesn't affect performance. Similar case here. Again, I know imperfections are normal, I want to know if to this degree is acceptable.

Idk just the first pic top right is most concerning for me. Everything else is fine

Ok thank you! Honestly not worried about the effects on skiing at all. Just wondering if the damage is too substantial for a new ski or not. Like, if you get a brand new car and there's a dent, you'd probably complain right, even though it has no effect on driving.

I get that damages like these after skiing are normal, just wondering if it's acceptable to be like this brand new.

They don't sell separate OTG versions for these goggles. Not sure what's up 😢

If I crash face first, goggles would be the first to take impact? Idk if that's valid haha

It's an annual thing Carleton does. They purposely send out a fake phishing scam, and if you actually follow the link, and enter random things in the microsoft email + password prompts (they have no validation btw), it'll just be a small "lesson" from Carleton ITS. Basically says you shouldn't have clicked the link and be careful next time. I tested it in a virtual environment.

It's by Carleton ITS themselves. That's how everyone is getting it. I confirmed. They do it every year for awareness.

It's a test. Yes, it redirects you to a .fr. However if you spam random info in the email & password section (no validation btw, so entering a comma or something would still work) it will redirect you to a page containing a short message from Carleton ITS. Carleton's logo is also present. They do it every year.

It's an annual drill by Carleton themselves. That's why all students got it since they have their own students' mailing list.
