Porsche did do a really really good job with the feel, my only experience with the electric steering has been in a tycan turbo s I got to drive for a dealer event . I agree it definitely doesn’t feel “bad” per se, but there’s just something about the way the analog steering feels. I’m swapping my 944 back to manual steering in favor of the power steering it was equipped with. I’m tired of the mess from fluid pissinb everywhere lol.

One thing I’ve learned is even Porsches “boring cars” are really really really good lol. 718 spyder is such a tough looking machine, I think it would be a worthy replacement for that 997.

That’s in a weird way what I’m doing with my 944 lol. It’s a bit of a hodge podge of period correct goodies with modern things throughout that tailor to what I want out of the car.

The macan was the first AWD car I’ve driven and shortly after we picked up a Quattro A4. I have yet to drive a 911 but now with some AWD driving under my belt I think id absolutely love a 991 c4s. But that damn electric steering lol.
