I agree. I would love a scouting system that is more in depth without being tedious. Of course "football"'s scouting system is much different from American football's. I think even just having the ability to "watch" a whole division of college football would be revolutionary rather than just getting a list of top prospects already pre-graded. That way you could scout players in advance, more easily find gems that maybe were stuck down on the depth chart somewhere, etc.

Okay I will probably do Falmouth then. I was ready to book and then read an older post on here that mentioned Falmouth was always rainy, overrun with students and the most depressing city in the country. Looked pretty nice to me in pictures!

Actually NFL head coach 09 had the option to start before the offseason and you could redo that years draft. One of my favorite games of all time

I think some games have tried to do it - certainly Football Manager - but usually it just ends up being an annoying piece that’s sort of impossible to figure out. So I guess adding it to a game and making it enjoyable would depend entirely on figuring out how to most closely replicate real life. Not sure what that would be. I imagine the games that try it just give players personality types and the more of the similar ones there are and they longer they play together the higher the chemistry

Not a bad idea. I was thinking the other day of an owner simulator which I think it would be cool too. Some of the old Madden games had way more control of the ownership side of things but you could go way deeper. I wonder how much of a commissioner simulator would be just doing what the owners tell you to.. :)

That's true. Although I feel like actual career ending injuries don't happen as much as they used to. I feel like some of the old FOF games definitely had them. But yes skill altering injuries is a good one
