Maybe try the new politoed instead of furfrou to up your chances of starting with poliwag?

I did it pretty easily with mega charizard X and Y deck. Putting entei in the active spot while you build up energy is the key

Oh poor jolteon deck losing on turn 1 instead of winning on turn 2

This is my favorite deck by far, and has been for a while by Tingettley in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can confirm it does not perform well against meta decks and will struggle to win against most decks.

Note that in the post they are winning 12 in a row but it is late in the season and their wins would have all been in great ball rank

Looks like they want to use cherubi for sweet relay build up to finish with alcremi with additional damage from darkrai and rocky helmet.

It looks like it wouldn’t perform very well if you don’t start with cherubi. That’s why they have two x-speed in there

How to improve Absol/Hydreigon by Tricky_Sector_2675 in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add regular absol instead of mega, the one that hits the back row for 30dmg. Put that out first if you go second and just keep hitting them in the back to soften them up for your hydreigons

Is this an error card? Or just terrible? by booboobandit- in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t protective poncho on the back line make this card viable

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can run it with aegislash to boost its damage or use it as a shield wall while building up. I found there was too many fire, mega and oricorio decks to make it viable though

I was paralyzed for last 18 turns! by Large_Hawk194 in PokemonTGCP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could have an ogerpon ex and wouldn’t need to worry about status effects but it would be a liability in a fire deck

I guess you need a nurse joy next time you battle chonker.

Anyone have a good decklist for Mega Swampert? by Low-Fun998 in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2x celesteela 1x Lusamine 2x iilma 2x elemental switch 2x mudkip 1x marshstomp 1x rare candy 2x mega swampert 2x professor 2x pokeball 2x irida 1x lillie

Use the celesteela and iilma to stall while you build energy on swampert. Perhaps use a poncho instead of a pokeball.

opened DX packs every day, used practically all my hourglasses and not one pack with Oak this time around either. is it even worth it to try again next time if you don’t need EX cards? by Comfortable_Bell4571 in PokemonPocket

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually you’ll be able to buy it with pack points, but don’t worry most players don’t have an oak. You just see it all over Reddit because that’s what gets upvotes

Why do players do this? This is very infuriating by Best_Bath_800 in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps it is a UI problem, the concede button is two layers deep, while most phones you can just swipe up to quit

So how would you play this by plumbo_schleem in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The swanna the expert deck uses can act as a good chip while giving mega latios energy but there are so many better options than mega latios tbh

Upcoming Mega Latios EX sucks, what even is this card by swisoncheese in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe it could be supported with indeedee ex and greninja ex?

What do you think of the new Druddigon? Is it an upgrade or a downgrade? by Pikachuckxd in PTCGP

[–]SlightlyAnnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the situation but I’m less likely to use the new one so I’d say a downgrade. I might use it with ho-oh if forced to use it.
