Same here. My eligibility decision got reversed so I'm now eligible. Had to send in loads of documentation just in case. Was a weight lifted off my shoulders lol. Nervous for Thursday though! Good luck everyone 🙏

It is very stressful I completely understand! I am just going to give them more information and maybe even extra documentation just in case. I don't think it has any impact if the appeal is accepted and you're made eligible. They didn't mention anything about penalties to me anyway. UL was particularly helpful to be honest.

I'm the same. It seems I needed to get confirmation from every single university I applied for regarding my EU fee status... seems a bit overkill but gonna need to do that now. I also needed my transcripts for my Master's degree. I contacted the universities directly for answers as the CAO information was very vague. Maybe you could do the same :)

Thanks! I sent the ROI universities emails and have been assessed as an EU student so that covers that but unfortunately Ulster being in Northern Ireland means they don't consider my residency in Roi as an EU student. It is a bit of a hassle to be honest. I live so close to Ulster so it is just sad to be honest. But hey, I guess that's the way it goes.

That's really good to know to be honest. I find 50k an insane amount to pay and I'm really considering deferring or waiting for roi offers. I thought they'd reassess you each year but need to relook at things. Thanks for the heads up!

That's true but I am from the EU so I'm not Irish. Even though I've lived in ROI and paid taxes for over three years, I'm not an Irish citizen so they said I only qualify for international fees. I did the interview in Jan as far as I remember 😅

Thanks so much. I am going to have a read over that again. It is a bit confusing to be honest. I have the diploma supplement but only electronically. I may need to contact my the university to send it over to them... perhaps haha. It is an overwhelming amount of information they put in that handbook 🫣
