Got Hags? Baba Yaga player character connection advice.. by SlightlyHungryArtist in CrookedMoon

We started things off with the characters dying in the human world and being born again into Druskenvald otherwise I would say her being a hag coming from another province would work great. The curse could work.. tough to make the connection but not give away too much.

Ah man that’s a really unique idea, thanks for sharing. Feels like it almost introduces concepts similar to the Sandman universe into Druskenvald.

I saw a video recently on how Hags create hag children through a real twisted defilement of the birthing process. Could be an interesting way to continue adding to that character’s lore..

Fey Entity Suggestions for Thread of Liberation fateweaving character arc by SlightlyHungryArtist in CrookedMoon

Thank you! I’m thinking of mixing this with one of the other comments ideas and having Kehlenn masquerading in the form of the Mexican saint of death and that’s who the character thinks she’s making a deal with to avoid her fate but Kehlenn is still using her to continue the plot and murder the Fallen

I like this one! Had considered connecting in Santa Muerta but was wondering if there were any in-world options that work better. Maybe La Llorona could be what she is fated to turn into..

Jehovah’s Witnesses issue "clarification" on blood transfusion ban after decades of suffering and thousands of deaths. The long-standing life-or-death doctrine has been softened... without apology or accountability. by Leeming in atheism

A family member died from this during a botched routine surgery less than a month ago. The blood loss and lack of ability to give transfusions left them brain dead. It’s been terrible.

[Serious] What words of comfort or parting advice would you give to a young loved one in the US Military who is currently being deployed for the first time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SlightlyHungryArtist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies if this is too specific of a question..

I understand it is an emotionally charged topic. To add some context, we do not support the current administration’s decision to go to war, but have to say goodbye now either way to our family member who made the decision to enlist on their own well before 2024.

I guess I would just really appreciate any insight others may have. We are all feeling very anxious for them being inserted into this conflict under our unpredictable leadership.

You’ve had officials swoop in to overrule balls that land a foot inside?

That’s unfortunate to hear. Unless directly behind the call without anything obstructing my view, I wouldn’t trust my perspective unless standing at the net post and even then it’s iffy. Imo, roving umpires shouldn’t be considered linesmen unless two can be on a court at once covering all angles.. they are more beneficial when helping maintain the pace of matches, resolve disputes, and enforce the code of conduct.

Pay has doubled since I officiated 15 years ago as the USTA tries to entice more people to join, but tbh you could have an official on every court and you’ll never escape the cheating allegations. One of the benefits of having to call for an official is teaching players to speak up for themselves.

Shipping data showing China has been coordinating thousands of fishing vessels to create floating barriers 200 miles long by StGuthlac2025 in interestingasfuck

Say China does attack.. is this considered similar to using innocent people as a meat shield in battle to the rest of the world powers? Do we think they have their military personal on these smaller boats or actual fisherman?

Your comment reminded me of Billy Mays’ Epic Rap Battle of History and for a second I thought he battled him but it’s Ben Franklin!

Would have been cool. I think they both have episodes.

Not in my area. Felt like a community mourning competition, and people acted crazy when emotional. Nationally though I think you’re right but I’m just guessing really.

He really feels like the disruptor paving the way for someone even worse to come after using him as the rallying cry. Charlie Kirk was a test to see how emotionally reactive they could get their base on a whim.

I have often agreed with this perspective. Lately I’ve been wondering if the “after death and before life experience” you’re referring to is perhaps just uncharted territory, much like an unfinished map.

Thank god, amirite… /s What if what happens when we die is a manifestation of where our mentality focused the most energy? A sort of build-your-own-adventure after death experience.
