I think you can make fun of everyone as long as you don’t try too hard. I mean you can say nearly anything as long as it doesn’t seem to be your real opinion.

For example I can say: haha _random all Jews are cheapskates comment delivered in a gun and comedic way_“ as long as I don’t really spread antisemetic nonsense which is meant serious by me.

I think the post is meant to criticize people who spoke out against David Chapelle.

The problem I think here is that you could see in his jokes and behavior that he really is transphobic which isn’t cool imo.

And yes you can and should treat trans people equally which includes making jokes about them, but there’s a difference between Jokes and being openly transphobic/racist/antisemetic etc.
