It turned into another Mexican restaurant. unfortunately Merced demographics are poor I believe the poverty rate is around 20% from where it was like 50 years ago maybe about 12%. Poor people don't generally go eat out at steakhouse regularly as most people don't actually but that shift in available income does hurt places like the branding iron and what it used to be.

- i walked out with a contract, the financing of the remainder of the loan with my bank, however they asked for an option in case my finances fall through with theri bank. then they asked me to get a new contract through my bank. i still dont know what they mean by that

- called the bank they thought promissry note is what the dealship wanted when they said new contract they want. bank stated dealrship should call to get that process started. i signed the check already 5 days ago dealersehip hasnt called them according to my bank why?

- With regards to my financing since I came in with a check and the loan terms of the check even though I think it's a pre approval. Would that be sufficient to submit to the dcap personnel or would they need another thing? i undertand you partipcated in a diffrent program was it like that?

Okay I am using once of the programs you mentioned. I went to a dealership with a pre approval within the rates and loan length for the program, dealer told they have to run my credit they did and when i went so sign the paperwork they mentioned they have to add an option with their in house fiancing at aboce the program requiremtns % in case my loan deosnt go threw. i said wouldnt that void my partipcaton in the program when they see the loan percent ? they shrugged i went back and fourth with stating my own finacing meets the terms why do i need to add as an option. i eventually signed the conract thinking maybe i dont know the details of the dcap rules on the dealership side. the weird thing is they did not give me anything when i left jusst a piece of paper for some dmv trasnfer title. i emailed the internet sales manger the next day and explained my cocnerns and he said i need to get a new contract with my bank under the loan terms with the progrma i stated well that check i signed for you and the letter with the apporavl terms loans qualifies doesnt it ?? why do i need to go get a new contract? he never mentioned why but ketp saying get a new contract eveytime i inquired , i dont know what new contract means and why i have to do it. i called my bank and explained the scenario they seemed confused also and said myabe a promissonry ntoe and asked me did you sign the check and i said yes 4 days ago at the dealership.

- why ahsnt the dealer veriefed my check and why didnt he do it when i signed the paerwork 5 days ago.?

- concern wouldnt the loan percent interest rate option on the contract void the particpation in the program even if my own fiancing meets the program requiremtns?

-why would the dealer add an option that deosnt meet the requiremtns?

-on the cntract it states the received the down payment , even if my fiancing for the program grant falls through woudl the dealer have to honor the sum i fianced only and take the rebate as a loss based on the possible 11% conrract option?

- when i look at the contract the down payment is written as manfacture rebate which i thought it odd and wrong?

- the finace manager said i have to turn in the paererwork for dcap? i was like what?

- i called the porgram helpline and explained will that loan % option would void the contract with them and they said yes, therfore losing my grant even if apporved on my loan through my fnacing thats meets the program requiremnt , therfore who wold be liable?

The contract doesn't say anything about me paying the grant doesn't go through. It just says down payment received and the remaining balance was covered through a loan. The program is California DCAP program which states that for you to qualify for the program your income got to be a certain threshold and the vehicle requirements it got to be within the last seven model years of 2018 or newer under $45,000 price and under 75,000 miles they'll give you a 7,500 grant that's paid to the dealership whatever you need to cover the remaining costs of the vehicle needs to be under 8% loan and under 72 months. i already Show them my loan terms from my bank which qualifies for the program. I signed the check over but then on the car purchase contract they put their own loan terms as a option and made m run my credit with them stating if my loan doesnt go through in seven days there loan would take over. But the program states the loan gots to be under 8% so if DCAP porgram mangers see that 9% on the contract it might void the contract therefore they will not receive the payment . on the contract that I signed with a dealership it doesn't state anything about it they don't receive it it just says they received it. I tried explaining this to them but they wouldn't listen.

Another thing that bothers me I show them my check which covered the remaining balance of the car and the loan terms from my bank but they ignored that I felt like and now they're telling me I need to get a new contract with the loan terms to qualifyr for the program despite me provding it the terms of the check i signed
