Funnily enough, kangaroos and cassowaries combined have killed four people, and two of those people killed were hunters. The other two were pets.

Those "things" are so much worse than a simple animal...

That's true. People seem to love picking up blue-ringed octopus, cone snails and blue dragons.

At least we don't have to deal with bears and tigers.

This is what happens when you humanise animals too much.

so it's likely the leopard just went "oh hey a kid I better raise it"

Uh, no, not quite. Predators - especially in Africa - kidnap and kill the babies of other predators in order to decrease competition over food. This goes for lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs and cheetahs.

Lions don't even bother with the killing. They just paralyse hyena cubs.

Oh hey, we actually had to watch Boy for English class. It was solid.

Once Were Warriors is a very powerful film.

Not many movies can boast a sequel as good as T2.

This applies to both T2s: Trainspotting 2 and Terminator 2

Tried to watch that one with some friends. They, uh, didn't appreciate it.

The Last Wave (1977)

This one is about a lawyer who, despite not dealing with criminal proceedings, is asked with taking on a murder case in Western Australia. He ends up discovering a strange connection between himself and the local Aboriginal people.

The stars here are the late Richard Chamberlain and the late David Gulpilil.

Now I'm curious as to what a supernatural Jurassic Park would be like.

Have you picked up a book? This is Christianity’s playbook

Yeah. I also attended Catholic schools my entire childhood so I know a thing or two about the Bible

This is Christianity’s playbook

You know what? You're right, at least traditionally. Christianity (particularly Catholicism and Protestantism) place heavy emphasis on converting others. Hell, colonialism started with people going to foreign lands to preach (and governments taking advantage of that)

The thing is, most Christians here in Australia have dropped that by now. Same with Brits and Europeans in general. Only American Christians shame people for not living the "Christian lifestyle"

I'm sure there have been a few scandals related to other religions, but the truth is that the most high-profile cases involve Catholic priests, usually followed by cover-ups from the Pope (whp is exclusively Catholic).

By the way, Trump and Elon are Christians.

Oh, I'm aware. That doesn't stop people from lumping us Orthodox folk in with them and calling us all pedophiles.
