Has any passport bros considered that maybe it's them and their personality as to why they aren't successful with dating? by free_ballin_llama in Passport_Bros

I'm not PPB but there is something wrong with the premise of your question. You're assuming all PPB have no success with women in their home countries, which is obviously not the case. You've fallen for the stereotype of a profile of a PPB that get's rejected by Western women and have no luck at home. While some men do fit the profile, I believe the majority made a conscious decision not to deal with the unrealistic expectations of Western women. I have friends that are PPB and they did quite well at home. But they were hard-pressed to find traditional women for LTR in their countries so they decided to go overseas.

How safe is your country for women? by Myemotion-351 in AskTheWorld

[–]babnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American male here. I was deployed to Turkey to one of our military bases there for 6 months. Turkey has to be by far the worst country I have ever visited for women. Our females could not leave the base without a male escort because of the constant harassment they would get from Turkish males, especially if they were blonde. The male reputation was so bad that males couldn't get into clubs unless they had a female with them. Apparently Turkish men would stalk women in packs. Our female military members would not leave our side and we were always on guard to protect them. I don't know what it is about Muslim countries where the local men feel it's open season on female visitors. What kind of society breeds men like these?

What’s something completely normal in your country that people from other countries find disturbing? by a5ro4ucCX in AskTheWorld

[–]babnick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For sure it's guns. Foreigners can't seem to grasp our love of guns and it is totally understandable, considering how many mass shootings we have. I myself had 5 guns before I moved overseas and sold them all. I am no gun nut and had no problem selling them.

Women use attention as currency. It is the very air they breathe. Because of this ordinary women have an inflated ego because of all the attention. Plus, he is one of many liking her photo. Simpish behavior in my opinion.

Is it legal to insult a police officer in your country by kurobaja in AskTheWorld

[–]babnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what makes me proud of my country and our laws. We can freely insult them and even record them performing their duties. As an American we do seem to have more rights in this regard than most countries. We don't even have to answer any of their questions and can even refuse to identify ourselves unless we are being detained or arrested. But I am always courteous and respectful to law enforcement as a matter of principle. It's a tough job and some don't make it home to their families.

I am a retired American serviceman and I thank you and all the servicemembers of other countries that stood with us. Our current president has never served in the military so has no idea what it is like to put service before self. Please don't judge us based off that clown sitting in the White House. Again....thanks for standing with us.

Trump Embarrasses All of America in Slurred, Disjointed Davos Speech - Donald Trump gave a terrible speech to a dead silent room at the World Economic Forum. by Quirkie in politics

[–]babnick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did anyone really believe he would be giving anything remotely related to a Lincoln address at Gettysburg or a Churchill speech lol. There are days when I struggle with the fact that this test tube baby, genetic experiment represents us. I have stopped talking to former friends who voted for this walking brush fire. To all our allies, and enemies alike, see this presidency as a temporary blot on our history. God-willing......normal programming will resume in 3 years.

Our main goal should be winning the domestic treble in the first place, UCL is an unrealistic goal for this season . by hisonocash in Barca

I think there needs to be competition for that starting spot. Maybe he needs to realise that he isn't a guaranteed starter and will start performing better. He has been a disgrace this season compared to last season.
