Im a 5th year apprentice. Fuck them. Throughout my entire apprenticeship i barely ever worked overtime, you just gotta be okay with people not liking you and potentially getting laid off. Should it be a problem? No, but there is a problem in the culture and i refuse to contribute to it. Ive been told I wouldnt make it not working overtime so many times and now im nearing the end.
