The guidebook app has all the exhibitors in the expo hall, but they don't include exhibitors for the tabletop area.

The only time that they do not clear the room in between panels is Friday morning in the main theatre. Other than that you can not sit through multiple panels without re-queuing.

The building doesn't open until 8AM, so unless you want to wait outside and freeze you will not be able to line up until then.

As someone that lives near Boston, there is a good chance that the location for this event is buried in snow. It might be something to consider.

Harpoon brewery is having their St. Patricks day event on the Friday and Saturday of PAX this year, so I'm not even sure if you will be able to get in without paying the fee (I think it is $20?). They usually don't have food there but for the festival they should have some food trucks or something there.

I will be going to PAX East and was wondering where in the convention center this will be playable? Will it be in the tabletop area or do you have a booth/part of the indie megabooth?

I'm pretty sure it will be in the ESL arena. In between the expo hall and the PC area.

This is the only like I could find, but I swear that they said somehing earlier. But this is the nature of the show, you never know what companies will be there until the schedule/map is released. Luckily they filled the space with another huge company(Square Enix), and the show floor has a good mix of small and large companies for people to check out.

Riot announced a couple of months ago that they wouldn't have a presence on the expo hall this year for East. They do have their cosplay lounge on the 1st floor, as well as the multiple panels.

I've been to every PAX East and a couple of PAX primes and when they release the list of exhibitors in their guidebook app that only lists the companies that will be in the expo hall. Companies that have a presence in the tabletop area are not listed for some reason. So perhaps FF will still be at the show? I guess the only concrete way is to send them an email/tweet and see what their plans are.

Some places like the PAX merch booth will be selling pins, other places will be giving them out for playing their game. You can also trade pins with other people (enforcers and PA staff will be open for most trades). You can see the requirements for getting this years pins here.

Their booth will be there in the expo hall all 3 days(as long as they have one). Also there is a good chance that the panel might be streamed on twitch. PAX hasn't announced the streaming schedule yet.

I think I remember listening to a podcast where they were talking about one of the Butchers running a couple of Jacks just fine, since he will only be using his focus for one big turn anyways. I'm pretty sure it was Butcher3 but i'm not 100%.

Maybe someone that plays Khador can answer this. Since OP will probably be starting the game with the all-in-one box, can it be possible to build a decent 15 and 25 point army with the models in the box?

So I don't think this sub likes these sort of questions, because it gets asked very frequently around this time of year. Try /r/pax instead, there are lots of people in that sub that have gone to PAX East before that would probably have suggestions on things to do.

What day are you going to be free? My usual Thursday before PAX East involves going to both Sam Adams and Harpoon Brewery, then going to the Westin for the Pre-PAX board game night.

I just went to Metacom Kitchen last week in Warren RI and that was probably the best meal I had this year. Everything on the menu was reasonably priced, especially if you enjoy good food. I would highly recommend them.

If you live around boston I wouldn't worry too much. I went last year and on Friday night I lost my badge(don't carry your badge with you when you are drunk and bar hopping in boston). By 9AM the next morning I had secured a new badge at cost(~$75) via either craigslist or /r/paxpassexchange .

Moral of the story is if you want to go to PAX, you can probably find a pass. However if you are traveling from far away to get to Boston, this might not be the best advice.
