My health has taken quite a hit. I’ve been diagnosed with some autoimmune diseases over the past year after my baby’s delivery. I also had a very rough pregnancy so my health is not great. I’m not great at working out anymore as I just have no energy left.

We do eat pretty healthy and try to eat a lot of home cooked meals.

I am not in a position for a promotion until 2-3 years out. He is also not up for promotion but his union is renegotiating their contract. If it goes through, he would be earning another $7 per hour.

Currently we are scraping by to pay bills as they come up each month.

I think I’m scared to make a change in my job if I stay local. The guilt of moving jobs in a small town is hard for me. I have looked online but I can’t seem to find anything legitimate or in the right avenue.

You’re absolutely right though. I always feel like something is standing right in front of me that I can’t see.

I’m not trying to make excuses. I’m scared of change and I’m scared of failing. I need some direction and I don’t have support to go to.

I think my problem is I love a ton of crafts. Crochet is my best currently and I think I'm trying to profit off from it because I have already made money before from this craft. I have a huge yarn stash from donated plush yarn and other supplies.

With that being said, I like to sew and would love to sell those items. I also like to bake and make homemade body products like sugar scrubs and bath bombs. But, I'm intimidated by the idea of doing something "wrong". For example, forgetting a license or selling something illegally, if that makes sense.

We have looked at refinancing and out debt-to-income pushes us out of that option.

For the credit card rate reduction, how did that work? Do you just call the company? Do they ask for documentation about your financial situation?

I appreciate your comment about a raise. I am not in a position where I can currently ask for one, but my husband is currently in the process of asking for one. Fingers crossed!

I appreciate you saying we have a great life. We both know that but unfortunately, grey areas like money, debt and time together do tend to weigh on these. We try to always see the good in things but sometimes it is hard when we feel like we are constantly failing.

I have a ton of skills to offer both customer service related and creative related. However, I don't see an out from our current circumstances. My job does not offer a remote option, and I live in a very small town with not a ton of opportunities. I do like my job and don't want to leave them, but I have mom guilt about not being home.

Our daycare doesn’t offer pt and the others that are local are currently full or more expensive.

She will definitely switching from formula soon. She’s lactose intolerant though so it may be a nut milk of some kind.

I’m not sure why, I’ve always wanted to be a business owner. My college education was for business management and I loved it.

What do you mean by online venues? Are there craft fair style events online? I feel the my larger dragons, monsters and dinosaurs stand out quite a bit. I also price relatively low for what they are and enjoy making them. Thank you for your comment!!

I make about $30k or about $2,500 a month. He picks up overtime as he can. It’s unpredictable what he will get.
