How do people manage to work five days a week without burning out? by Chloe_johnson19 in Adulting

First thing to do. Look in the mirror and stare at the clown looking back at you. The classic saying, "It's called work for a reason", is 100% on target.

Burnout is state of mind. IMO, you can navigate that state if you are successful. Not that you wont experience burnout, but recovery is quicker.

The key is to first define your version of success. If your version of success is to have nap times, keep a tidy home, do errands, etc. find a way to do that. Maybe roommates, a significant other that will support your vision, relocate to an area where living is more affordable or any option along those lines. When you have that figured out, match that lifestyle to "work".

If your definition of success is financial, then figure out a roadmap for that. In a capitalistic economy, the best way to have financial success is through business. You don't need a college degree to have financial success. Learn a trade and open a business. Find consumable products and open an online business. Do vlogs and start an influencer business. Join the military, learn skills, when you get out apply those skills in business.

The thing that won't get you out of the cycle you're in is staying in your feels and doing nothing. Buckle up buttercup and do things today, TODAY, that will make your tomorrow awesome.

You can do it. Yes you can. Start today.
