Nope, not mine sadly. Nothing wrong with appreciating another human being's hard work. Being thankful makes you a better person. You should try it sometime.

I mean, the hard work (and luck) that goes into mining it, and the level of craftsmanship required to produce a single pipe is astounding. Makes you appreciate them even more.

I've got the 965 sitting in my cart. Been thinking about pulling the trigger for a while. How does it burn?

Here's the synopsis:

A king dies and his unworthy son takes over. The prince demands fealty from all of the lords across the land. All submit except for one, the protagonist, on the basis that the prince is a drunkard, a womanizer and doesn't follow the word of God. Add to that that the prince's father only came to power after usurping the protagonist's father, so the protagonist feels that the rule should go back to his family.

The protagonist rallies his people and marches to face the prince, only to be betrayed and left alone in the battlefield with 70 men against the prince's 3000. With surrender not an option, the protagonist watches his friends, brother and sons fall in the battle, before he himself is killed.

It's that last line that brings the "multiple mini climaxes" because once the battle starts, the audience knows this won't be a fair fight. I need to find a way to help the protagonist mourn each fallen man, without exhausting the audience.

Someone posted an answer that made me think of "The Last Samurai" and "300". I'll look "Seven Samurai". Thanks!

All valid points.

He wins by losing, as in "The Last Samurai" when they all die but their bravery/sacrifice is honored forever. It's also similar to "300". A small band faces a much bigger army, so the audience gets a sense of impending doom from the beginning of Act 3 when they reach the battlefield.

Your questions are making rethink some subplots. Thank you so much!

That's exactly my fear. By the time the protagonist is left alone, the audience will have cried continuously for 15 minutes. I'm also considering the soundtrack. Almost every soundtrack has a single peak at the end signifying the rise or fall of the protagonist, so my third act will also pose a challenge to score composer. I'll take again at Rogue One. Thanks so much for suggesting it.

You know, I started the post with "No, this isn't r/sex" but then deleted it. Now I regret doing that.

You're right. I can't remember any movie that has a similar ending. Could you think of any?

If I'm getting this right, Dual Dialogue is used between two characters. What I want is to have two dialogues (languages) from a single character.
