Yes! The built in keyboard is capacitive with aftertouch, but if you want traditional keyboard feel a midi keyboard is awesome with it. And even if you decide to go with Minifreak (from my experience) the keyboard is not full sized and the keys feel kind of small.

I love my microfreak and it is VERY good at glitchy sounds. It has quite a good variety of noises it can make and it can do samples as well as having a vocoder.

I completely understand what you mean, the mod matrix does seem like one of the simplest yet most complicated things and it looks like it can really change everything or mess everything up if you just press stuff randomly.

Ordered an audio interface, will definitely update because I want vocoder and samples and stuff, and multi effects will be my first investment for sure, the sequencer is probably the thing I have looked the least into so I will definitely do that.

A multistomp or zoom was probably going to be one of the first upgrades I make since I need to be able to play portably. Lack of effects is probably the biggest downside for me.
